Pros: If you close your eyes it's not really there! Cons: You eventually have to open your eyes. The Bottom Line: If you plan on keeping it for more than a week... not the right car.
Update: Before you read this if you have not yet, I must let you know that I am visiting the family with this car and it is at 180000km and still starts and drives surprisingly well... the air conditioning is broken and that's about the only thing ...

Pros: A great bargain; comfortable; great extras; a wonderful van for a family with small children. Cons: Headlights are weak; horn not safely located; headrest uncomfortable. The Bottom Line: Buy it if you have kids, go to Home Depot a lot, want a sport looking mini van, like convenience and comfort.
We bought the Pontiac Montana because we had a lot of GM points and got a great deal. We purchased the extended version with bucket seats (not captain's seats), so the van fits 8 people. Our van has the sports package, fabric upholstery and both sliding ...

Pros: It's a van Cons: Just too many to list here The Bottom Line: If you're thinking of buying this van, you'd better get a REALLY good price on it to make it worthwhile, and test drive it with all your car seats!
Maybe I'm a little too critical, or maybe I'm a tad ungrateful. Maybe both. But we don't really like our new old van. To give a little background - a few months ago, my in-laws gave us their van. They purchased it shortly before our first child was ...

Pros: Continues to impress us! Great ride and great looks! Cons: Red dashboard lights tough on the eyes; front seats could be bigger; pricetag! The Bottom Line: I highly recommend the Pontiac Montana to anyone looking for a family-friendly vehicle with lots of bells and whistles!
We bought our 2002 Pontiac Montana recently, and we continue to be pleasantly suprised each and every day. I do have to say, the payments are a bit steep, but since it's brand new with lots of "bells and whistles" it sure is worth the pricetag!

Pros: Gas Mileage, reliability, comfort, room (extended), versatility, cost for regular maintenance. Cons: Visors a little small, wiper system packs snow freezes in winter. The Bottom Line: The king of minivans when affordability is an issue.
Some time ago, I had to enter the world of driving a mini-van. With not a lot of cash and no knowledge of them, I chose a 1991 Pontiac Transport. It was by far more comfortable to drive, better on gas and less troublesome than any other van I had been ...

Pros: Comfortable, Powerful drive, Roomy, High off the ground, Sporty Cons: Expensive, No lumbar support option The Bottom Line: I love the Montana Van--it's powerful, roomy, and comfortable.
I was skeptical when my nephew and his wife told me they traded in their new van for a Montana. They had nothing but praise for the vehicle. I wasn't familiar with the Montana, so I took a look at it on my way out of my sister-in-laws home. I liked...

Pros: roomy beyond belief, great ride, great bells/whistles Cons: front seats not so comfy for everyone The Bottom Line: Its the ideal family vehicle, especially if you love the ride of an SUV but not its gas mileage.
2 children, two adults, two dogs, and a grandmother that lives around the corner. Our Jeep Grand Cherokee was getting too small so I (a 37 year-old teenager) needed to make the jump. This car seems to be great in about every way. I test-drove several ...

Pros: It's the nicest looking Mini van out there.
roomy interior
Cons: Gas milage is horrible The Bottom Line: The worst buy we have ever done.Went from an awsome 1997 Grand Prix GTP to this
We are trading off in a few days for a 2003 grand prix
We figured we would try one of these out after hearing rave reviews about it. It turned out to be the worst decision we have ever done.
There are more things wrong with it than there are good.
To name a few of the bad off the top of my head...

Pros: Sporty Look Cons: Not at all Reliable! The Bottom Line: Save your money and go buy something else. This mini-van is plagued with problems and Pontiac Motors doesn't care. I tried calling them and they could care less.
I FEEL VIOLATED!
This Mini-Van is garbage. I purchased my Montana in Sept. of 02, brand new. I have sence had it in the shop about 12 times. I am at 22K miles and am on my 3rd set of front brake pads, and second set of rear cylinders. My brake...

Pros: Gas mileage, room, power sliding door, flip over 3rd row seats. Cons: mechanical problems, mechanical problems, electrical problems. The Bottom Line: I do not recommend this vehicle unless your are very tolerant of unexpected failures.
I bought my Montana new in 2002. It went back to the dealer for several small repairs during the first 10,000 miles that were covered under warranty. A nuisance, but no big deal since the warranty covered. It then ran good for the next 50,000 miles ...

Pros: Heavy, easy glide, very spacious up front, dual air, great view, low fuel consumption Cons: Starter isn't seem very durable, lightbulbs near the rear hatch have to be changed frequently. The Bottom Line: This van will suit anyone - from SAHM to an athlete. There is plenty of room to add more kids or adults or bags with gear. Enjoy!
I must admit, I didn't buy the "fully loaded" vehicle because I didn't want another thing to repair. I kind of wish that I had remote control door and few other extras BUT.. I absolutely love my van. Its hard to call it "mini" (we bought extended ...

Pros: very sporty, nice options Cons: the bad starts and sliding door problem, and the seating problem
Coming from driving a grand prix, I was hesitate about moving up to a van, but after test driving one we were sold! This is a sporty van with ok room. If you have the front seats all the way back there in not much room for the seats behind it and with the drink holders on the second row of seats in the isle way it is sort of hard to get in the way back but it is possible. We love the dvd player would not get another car or van without it!! You need it if you have kids!!!! I really like the back up sensors!! We have had a few problems with this van including bad starts every once in awhile and the passenger sliding door that would pop open and not close right, took the dealership about 8 times to finally get it to work right....for now anyways. That problem was very annoying and really erked me.

Pros: Getting the kids in and out of their car seats. Cons: Getting into the third row seats.
When we had our first child we decided we wanted to buy a minivan. We looked at many different models and liked what the Montana had to offer. We also were given good reviews from many other people. As a mother of two young children I really like the ease of getting the kids in and out of their car seats. You don't have to put yourself into a pretzel. It also is roomy and big enough for the four of to go somewhere and the dog can even come too. The only thing that I don't like about this car is that it is hard to get into the third row, especially with the two car seats there. The seats do not fold out of the way so you have to climb and squeeze to fit. But, overall a great vehicle.
