Honda isn't what it used to be

Pros: Handles great, nice styling, solid. Cons: Buzzes, road noise, extra firm ride, decline from past Hondas.
This is my third Honda out of eight cars owned in my life. I am really disappointed. Maybe I just expect a lot for a $20,000 car, but here is the good and bad.
Pros: Well built, great stying in and out, solid seats, nice engine sound. Handles great.
Cons: 4 buzzes: door, cd bin, passenger door pocket, and glovebox. All very annoying. Lots of road noise. I guess this is from the tires, but I expected a much quieter ride. Very firm ride. This car feels every little bump in the road and lets you know. Yes, that is good for handling, but not for a smooth ride.
Overall, I should have gotten a Corolla or Camry. The Honda is too firm and loud. Plus, it seems like they cut corners with this build, because the buzzes are everywhere. Also, there is a ticking noise at idle, which I reported to the dealer and apparently it's normal. There was also TSB on the right camber of the wheel.

2003 Honda Accord Coupe EXV6 6MT Navi- GREAT CAR!

Pros: 240hpV6, NaviSystem, 6-speed Transmission, 17" rims, remote lock/unlock on ignition key Cons: Exterior styling tame. Needs Xenon headlights like the Maxima and Altima offer.
I just picked up a NEW 2003 Honda Accord Coupe EXV6 with the 6-speed manual transmission AND the Navigation system for $23,000 before tax, title, etc. The car is a dream to drive and it's VERY fast with its 240hp V6 engine mated to the manual transmission. The Navigation system is also much more than I imagined. It's like driving a James Bond car. The interior is very sharp for a car in this price range. The LED gauges are super and the switch-gear is solid. Car and Driver says this car goes 0-60 in 5.9 sec. The 17" rims are sharp and have a special tire mounted on them for the 6-spd trim. Too bad no xenon lights, but Honda must be trying to keep Acura products differentiated.

Low quality, unsafe, flawed designs

Pros: good fuel economy Cons: flawed designs
Since buying this car, I have experienced many problems. First, the LCD screen suddenly became dark for no reason in 2004. The dealer said this is a design defect and replaced it after one month. In 2005, during a regular maintenance in a dealer, we were told the car was leaking transmission oil. Last November, we went to Chicago at noon and parked on a street (a lot of traffic at the time). Coming back in half an hour, we found someone had sneaked into the car and stole all our expensive items. No prizing signs on the doors. Sure, we locked the car before we left. It seems the Honda anti-thief alarm system malfunctioned. Last, it was snowing when I drove home on a highway today. Although I drove very slowly, my car suddenly spun and lost control for no reason. I did not feel ABS was working at all. I was hit by a van and the entire back bump and part of the left side body were destroyed (fortunately those big truck managed to avoid hitting my spinning car). I am very disappointed with Honda's quality and will never buy Honda products any more.

2003 Accord V6 very good in most categories, not very bad in any.

Pros: Comfortable seating, roomy interior, excellent engine responsiveness, good mileage. Cons: Horrible traction with OEM Michelin tires, marginal radio reception in all modes.
My 2003 Accord sedan has just breached the 40K mile mark and continues to provide very good performance and service with almost no (other than required periodic) service. The original Michelin tires provided TERRIBLE traction, especially on wet roadway, from day one. Replaced tires at 38K miles (when fish-tailing experienced; original tires still had nearly 1/2 tread depth) with a set of Goodyear Assurance Triple Tred@. This is a completely different driving experience: excellent handling/cornering and superb performance on both wet and snowy roads. This is my second AND LAST bad experience with Michelin over-priced and over-rated rubber.

Great car

Pros: Navigation system - it is very thorough with guiding you to your destination. Cons: Lagged acceleration (once engine kicks in, there is plenty of power in 4cyl)
I bought this car specifically for the interior. This was a great buy! Some quirky things to consider before purchasing: 1. there is a lag when putting the pedal to the floor and trying to accelerate. 2. the navigation system controls the audio and A/C as well - it can be cumbersome to learn the system. 3. no 60/40 split seats, however you can pull down the entire bench to access the trunk, or you can fold down the armrest in the center to access the trunk (good for skis). 4. the sunroof controls are to the left of the steering wheel instead of near the sunroof.

Honda's Coupe (2-door) Doubles As A Family Car

Pros: High safety record, large trunk, roomy backseat, sleek looking, high gas mileage and economical. Cons: Sit low to the ground
I own a 2003 Honda Accord 2-door. I purchased it when I was single, wanting a sporty car that could get up and go. Not long after I got married and am now planning on having children. I was so heart-broken at the thought of having to sell my car because I thought that you needed 4-doors with children.
One of my girlfriends and I went shopping in my car with her six-month old little girl. I was amazed at how easy it was to get the car seat in and out of the car. The front seats pull forward so much we didn't even have to struggle getting her in and out.
Plus, the truck is so roomy we were able to fit her large stroller, shopping bags and her Playard into the truck with room to spare.
The best thing about this being a family car is that you don't have to worry about child-locking the doors or windows. I am thrilled that I no longer have to trade in my sleek car for a minivan!

GET LEATHER SEATS!!!!

Pros: Sleek look inside and out, great gas mileage, fun to drive. Cons: Cloth seats, slightly cramped in the back seat (but due to being a coupe)
I am completely impressed with every aspect of this car and the way that it drives, but I have a major problem with the seat material. The black cloth is a fuzzy soft magnet for any kind of animal hair, lint, dust, sweater fuzz, or anything. I find myself having to have a lint brush handy at all times. I am often embarrassed to invite people into my car if I haven't "brushed" my seats first. They feel great, and living in Florida I tried to steer clear of leather, but regret this decision every day that I enter this car. I have actually considered recovering them or buying seat covers which will ruin the stylish and sleek interior look. I would definitely upgrade to leather seats in a minute if I had to buy this car all over again.

Is this a Honda ??

Pros: Sporty, well appointed, value Cons: BRAKES ! wind noise faulty LED display
I am the owner of a 2003 Accord EXL (4 cyl). The brakes were replaced at 6000 miles - all around - no questions asked..... That should have been a clue to me! Now the LED Display has gone - gotta wait a week for the part to be ordered? And the brakes (at 21500 miles) are beginning their same old story of thunk clunk grind and whine. I previously owned a 98 (same trim) and had some bizarre moments with it as well (the front seat came unwelded from the frame!) Maybe I should go look for a Toyota tomorrow - any suggestions?

Pros: smooth V6, comfy seats, nice daily driver Cons: blind spots, average MPG, paint chips easy
I bought a 2003 LX-V6 coupe last May and I think it's a great car for the money. Other than the wrinkly window trim which was covered under warranty, I haven't had any problems with the car.
I read that other owners have had a host of other problems (hard starting, tranny problems, etc) but my car's been just great.

Seemed like the best choice when I got it.

Pros: Nice Car. Comfortable and Well designed. Warranty service has been great Cons: Been in the shop too many times for a new car.
Had no major problems, many small problems. My warranty is almost up, so I am going to trade in this sour car.
- Sheet metal dents too easily.
- Been in the shop twice for the factory alarm system.
- brakes problems with noise. Repaired under warranty.
- doughnut for spare tire.
there were a dozen other little things I noticed too over the two years that i've owned it.
If you do get this car I recommend you get the 5yr/100000 mile warranty.

This is why I Do not like this car

Pros: I hope this vehicle will hold true to its excellent reviews Cons: seats, body roll in the rear of vehicle is greater in than the front
When you sit in the car you think to your self don't like the seats(not enough thigh support).
When turning corners you can feel the vehicle twisting , you also hear creaks and cracks coming from doors and windshield.
Steering feels to mechanical
May have driven one of the bad ones
Drove this product because I trusted the reviews.

I'll never go American-made again!

Pros: Great quality, gas mileage, price Cons: Honda doesn't make a pickup truck
Ok, ok - Hondas and Toyotas are made in America too, but the makers have a higher standard that they put into their vehicles than say Ford, Dodge, or GM. I like my 2003 Accord so much, my wife and I just went out and bought a 2003 Civic this past weekend! Both vehicles run great. Both vehicles also scored and ranked very high for the crash test ratings http://www.hwysafety.org/vehicle_ratings/ratings.htm
Honda has a great reputation for making quality vehicles and once you decide to purchase one, you'll never go back to second rate again - we won't. The 4 cylinder model runs just as if it had a 6 cylinder, I have no problems passing when I need to. I definately recommend checking them out.

2003 Honda Accord EX

Pros: I love this car with the few exceptions noted. Cons: Air leak and fast idle.
I bought this car 2 months ago after looking at the Toyota's and Nissan. There is an annoying sound of air leaking in on the drivers side door at about ear level. This starts at about 60 mph. The same on the passenger door. I looked at the rubber molding on both the doors and can see a visible dimple in the rubber where I know the air is coming in. I showed it to the dealership but for some reason they tell me its normal for some air to leak. "Bull". Hopefully I can get further by talking with a Honda rep. The last thing is when the car is cold it idles too fast. This can be a problem if you are parked behind another car. Keep your foot on the brake.
