Pros: The package did arrive Cons: It did NOT arrive overnight as promised, customer service was unhelpful
I normally go for the cheapest shipping costs available because, well because I’m cheap, that’s why. However, this time I decided to splurge. After all, it’s urgent.
My computer monitor sizzled out into bleak blackness earlier this week....
Pros: Delivered the goods on time, for a more than competitive price Cons: Specialize in air shipment, no ground service available
After having sent two Express Mail packages from my new hometown, Fort Smith, Arkansas, only to have them arrive at their destination five days later, I knew I'd have to look for an alternative.
Pros: I have no idea Cons: Poorly trained employees in service and confidentiality
Here I sit on pins and needles (yesterday) wondering how was that check gonna be delivered by overnight express. Could it be UPS, FED-EX, or by poney express? Well, I liken this place-- Airborne Express to a "come and get it"...
Pros: Seems inexpensive if are willing to wait Cons: Not as reliable as FEDEX and UPS
I was instructed to use Airborne Express as the shipping company by the escrow company that is processing my house sale. Since I am currently in San Francisco and my house is being sold in San Diego, it seemed wise by all concerned to use Airborne's...
Airborne Express is by far the WORST carrier around. Just try and get a package delivered. Forget about on time delivery, as getting to your door is a major accomplishment, which most likely won't happen.
Pros: Drivers' uniforms not as ugly as UPS drivers' uniforms Cons: They are a rotten company with rotten customer service who do a rotten job.
So here's my Airborne Distress sob story:
I do freelance graphic production. I was working on a calendar two years ago about this time here in Oregon for a client in California. We HAD to get a set of matchprint proofs to a client the next day...
What's my beef with Airborne? Well, if I order a package, I expect it to be delivered. For some reason, Airborne has a problem with this. They can't seem to come inside a fence to deliver a package. We rarely get packages via Airborne, and if we find out...
Pros: Economical, Reliable, and online tracking available Cons: pickup locations not available in all cities
I recently signed up my home-based business with an AirBorne Express account in which they promptly sent me my welcome package. I have received quite a number of packages by Airborne Express, but, as of yet, have not sent any packages by their...
Pros: I hear they are great in urban areas Cons: The US Mail is faster in rural areas
I live in rural Montana and have had bad experiences with Airborne Express for years. They do not serve us out here. A package sent to us via AE will arrive somewhere in our region overnight, then will be shipped from there to here via UPS or US Mail...
Pros: Your package visits many exotic locations Cons: Your package is too busy touring to arrive on time (if at all)
I prefer to have more than one tale of woe before I slam a company, and thanks to some recent behavior by Airborne Express, they have earned their way onto this distinguished hall of shame.
Tale 1: About 6 years ago I was using them while...
Pros: More reliable thn in the past. Cons: Cost are high but comparable to other services.
Airborne Express is by far the worst of all carriers out there. They are highly unreliable and irresponsible. When you need your package now - expect to wait a few weeks. Then wait a few more weeks. As you take in the lies they feed you.
When it absolutely positively has to be there overnight….don’t rely on Airborne Express. I have received shipments via Airborne on only a few occasions, and of those only one arrived on time as promised. There were always excuses about drivers not being...
Pros: fast, efficient, friendly phone staff Cons: there seem to be a lot of bad reviews
My Palm Pilot broke and Palm Inc used Airborne Express to transport it to their repair houses; and I was totally impressed with Airborne Express's speed, efficiency, and service. I definitely had a good experience. I did several "stupid"...
Pros: Excellent prices and shipping times. Cons: None that I can think of.
Until Airborne Express, there was no way to have the convenience of overnight without costing an arm and a leg. Mostly everyone ships packages with their budget in mind and Airborne Express helps ease the shop-a-round.
Pros: Cheaper than the rest. Cons: You get what you pay for - bad service, lost/delayed packages.
I have a seafood company and have dealt with Airborne Express (now DHL Express) for many years. However, ever since they merged with DHL, my shipments are continually delivered late. Many people are depending on my products for parties. Lately, DHL ...
