Pros: Nice brown uniforms and trucks. Cons: Insanely expensive for service slower and more brutal than the post office!
I once ordered a book for $5.00 that ended up getting sent to me here in Canada from the states via UPS. It arrived with them demanding $30.00 for their brokerage fee in order to receive it!!!!! This happened a couple more times until I started avoiding ...

I recently ordered an electronic part from Florida to Barrie, Ontario. The part cost $115US. Shipping

I got a call that...

Pros: To my knowledge UPS has never smeared goat feces on my packages. Cons: Brokerage fees, lost packages, incompetence, neglect, and ugly, ugly trucks.
I've received several shipments from UPS some from the States, some from Canada. Virtually every single shipment has been screwed up, somehow. I've paid larcenous brokerage fees (and have sent one package back because the fees exceeded the value of ...

Pros: Fast, positive, response by Customer Service to e-mail.
Cons: The imposition of brokerage fees at all.
I had occasion to have sent to me a package from Chicago.
It was a gift from my sister-in-law. She prepaid it. When it arrived here in Canada, I was presented with a $35.00 brokerage fee. I wrote to UPS H.O. explaining to them that
no...

Pros: Parcels Arrive Safely Cons: The "you can't have your parcel till you pay us" extortionist brokerage fee
UPS is run by people who know rackets. I think they must be run by the mob or something. If they were upfront and honest, they would include this "fee" in the price to send the package, not surprise you with a "we'll let you have what you own when you...

Just recently I subscribed to Diect TV. When Direct TV send equipment to a customer, it uses UPS's adult signature required option. Which means that the receiver cannot waive signing for the package. I rent an upper flat and my door is on the side of the ...

Pros: None. Probably the slowest of all premium couriers. Cons: Everything. Time, money and hidden fees. Plus rude drivers who seem mentally taxed.
The brokerage fees charged by UPS and now Fedex are complete robbery. UPS is by far the worst. Last time I had to deal with this UPS wanted $53 for $40 worth of specialty paper. The UPS drivers know the routine and are miserable. All day they get to ...

I'm not sure how UPS Canada stays in business. Everyone I know who has received shipments from out of the country through them has a huge horror story about their insane brokerage fees. I only have two, as I now refuse to use UPS for any of my ...
