By far the best mouse I have ever used.

by davidm122 , Jun 16 '04
Pros: Excellent accuracy, durable construction, beautiful styling. Great for gaming, computer graphics, and everyday use.
Cons: Slightly larger than most mice.
The MX500 is a member of Logitech's high quality MX series of mice. The only major difference from the MX700 is that this mouse is corded, which generally won't be a problem for most people. I have owned this mouse for a year and a half now, and it ...

Ergonomics:
The mouse has seven buttons total and a clickable mousewheel. There are two thumb buttons along the left side of the mouse. These are well placed, above the area where you rest your thumb. The Left/Right mouse buttons are integrated into...

Intro

I have a natural bias towards Logitech mice since I've owned at least one since about 1996. In that time, I've had great success and have never had any problems with any of them. Logically, I expected to be satisfied with the...

A good desktop and gaming mouse

by deaddred , Mar 06 '03
Pros: Fast accurate performance, ergonomically designed.
Cons: A couple of the buttons are hard to reach. Not for lefthanders.
I have a couple of older optical mice, namely the original MS Explorer and a Logitech iFeel, and both of them suffer when the mouse is moved too quickly across the mouse pad. As I am a gamer, this can often cause problems that can be very frustrating....

Pros: 8 buttons! Best mouse you can buy!
Cons: Buttons could have more configuration options.
This mouse is simply the best you can get. No less than 8 buttons, although there could be more configuration options.

Greatest Mouse Ever
by will1087 ,Mar 29 '04
Pros: -Ergonomics -Sleek -Programmable Buttons
Cons: -A bit heavy -Price
So i just bought this mouse upgrading a slightly broken and overabused multi function ball mouse. I wasn't going for this mouse at first but there was a 50% discount so i couldnt resist.

This mouse is by far the best mouse i have used. In terms of numbers, this is one of the most accurate mice out there (MX 510) being more accurate.

The programmable buttons are nice feature and are placed perfectly. The default settings for the buttons are useless but can be changed via packaged software.

When playing games, this mouse doesnt miss a beat. Unlike other mice, this mouse is much more accurate. It goes up to 4.7 megapixels which is overkill. But gamers will appreciate that their every move is being watched.

Some users might find that its a tad heavy, but if you open the mouse, theres a metal weight that can be removed. For gamers, this is a very handy option. However, if you remove the weight, the mouse can be a bit light. But the choice is yours.

If you enjoy sitting in front of your computer surfing, this mouse is definitley for u. Its extremely ergonomic, dare i say perfect.
