My Maxtor 5000LE (Purchased for Backup)

Pros: Easy setup, good software, and clean design
Cons: No power switch, tacky (Mac style) USB cable
I purchased my Maxtor 5000LE 80 GB External Hard Drive as a backup / data transfer solution when a laptop I purchased had to be returned to the manufacturer for exchange.

Very easy to set...

Very easy to set up. The back up Utilitie (Retrospect) that came with the maxtor takes some time geting uses to but works fine for any type of back up. Once set, a push of a button on front panel of the maxtor brings up the back up software for easy automatic back ups of your most recent or important files.
