Pros: The Lime Green is AWESOME in my dining room! (kidding!) It's a Mac. It's easy. It builds confidence. Cons: Freezes more than my back deck. Incompatible with most peripheral "non-essentials" like HP printers and Olympus digital cameras.
I have an iMac. I call it the Lime Beast. Mostly I like it, but I know that is because I perceive myself to be too stupid to use anything but a Mac.
I have been putting this epinion off for as long as the site has been operational. However,...

Pros: stable, attractive, functional Cons: CD-ROM drive skips (probably can be fixed, once I bother to call their service dept)
Yes, my iMac is a year and a half old. And yes, they've come out with newer models with fancier features. But I adore this computer and won't trade it in until they pry it from my hands.
Prior to buying this iMac, I'd had every type of Mac...

Pros: Small, Easy to install, Fast, Minimal amount of wires, Microsoft Windows comaptibility, Color options Cons: Low internal HD space, Low memory, Poor quality CD-ROM, No internal disk drives, No eject button :\
After buying a small RV, I guessed we needed a little entertainment in it. I personally DO NOT LIKE laptop computers. So I decided to spend a little money on a new computer for it. I decided to purchase an all-in-one system because of its size and ease...

Pros: Great Functionality, Compact Cons: Upgradability is Low
I've been an Apple fan for quite some time, building Basic Programs on an Apple IIc a long time back. When I heard Apply had created the iMac, I was sceptical for quite some time, and ended up buying a iMac Revision C (333Mhz). I've also been working on...

Pros: Ease of use, easy to move, appeals to those not fluent in computerese Cons: picture quality, not error free
I am writing this review on the keyboard of an iMAC, the newest fad in computers. My father is keeping it here at home for the summer because he would rather not leave it at school. I have been using it for almost a week now and have several...

Pros: Easy Set-up, Easy Interface, Built in Speakers and Graphics Accelerator Cons: Small keyboard, Round Mouse, No Floppy Drive, Difficult Expansion
The Macintosh iMac was a computer based around one principle: simplicity. In doing so, Macintosh created a very good computer, but one that does have some weaknesses. The iMac is an excellent computer for the computer novice, or someone who is just...

Pros: Uhhh....they LOOK cool? (does that count?) Cons: Smells of Brimstone!
Satan owns a Macintosh. Specifically, he owns an i-Mac (a strawberry one, I think...) His evil work would take much longer without it. I'm sure he gets out of the office a lot earlier than he used to when all he had was a pitchfork and a pocketful of...

Pros: Great advertising? Cons: No Floppy, 1 button mouse!, slow, clumsy
Well, for all of the clever advertising, spinning computer, flying around on the TV, dancing to music, this computer is an extreme disappointment. In the world of great computers that are hitting the market, you are getting what you pay for with this...

Pros: Good budget or 2nd computer, easy to use, stylish Cons: mouse and keyboard are nonstandard and most people would want to replace.
For under a grand the Apple iMac 350mhz is one deal that is worth the money for new and old computer users alike.
Weither you are an Apple fan or PC person, you will be able to appreciate the value of this machine. The iMac 350...

Pros: Perty Colors Cons: No floppy drive, no games, no easy upgrading, no real good reason to buy.
There really is no good justification for buying a Mac computer over a PC system anymore. The differences that used to make Macs better for graphics and sound design are no longer valid pros for the system anymore, as the PC has more than caught up with...

Pros: None Cons: shape, color, size and everything else
I would never buy any mac, but this tops them all. We currently have mostly iMacs at my school since last year (before that we had powermacs) They suck! They only have USB ports which is a major draw back and they don't even come with a floppy drive. At...

Pros: Easy to setup, good monitor, portable Cons: Mouse, keyboard, lack of controls
My very first computer was an Apple IIgs and I got back in the late 80's. At the time, it was comparable to any IBM-Compatible systems out and had better graphics and sound than any console video game system. However, due to lack of support and Apple's...

Pros: Internet capable Cons: Little, can't push the limits
I bought this computer after I already had a PC so I could use it to do little things, and it was cheap. I was not exactly happy with the results. There were and still are many things that I find wrong about the iMac, but there are also a lot of...

Pros: Really simple to set up and use, and great for someone who wants a computer to email, use the internet, word processing and financial programs. Cons: The iMac comes with a lone 4-page brochure regarding set-up, with instructions for the pre-installed software available from the iMac desktop. While I applaud Apple for refraining from burdening the iMac's users with an obtuse operating tome, the lack of w
The last computer I owned was an IBM PC Jr. It couldn’t save a simple document unless I switched floppy disks in and out of its one disk drive in rapid fire succession. I gave up on it in college (late '80s), preferring the chaos of composing...

Pros: Fashionable, beautiful screen, nice price for a Mac Cons: CPU not as fast as advertised, OS crashes too often, not expandable
Don't believe Apple's wild claim that the PowerPC (G3 or G4) is faster than a Pentium III at the same clock speed. Why do they *only* show Photoshop tests? And only show the same suite of tests? Because, my dear Watson, those are the tests specially...
