Pros: Fast, Cheap, Good Looking, Great OS Cons: Monitor SIze, Mouse, DVD lags when using pull down menus
I just recently bought my Apple DVSE. It was my first jump from Windoze to Mac (although I have had enough experience with Macs). I must say it was the best switch I have ever made. The OS is much cleaner and tighter than Windows will ever be. I used to...

Pros: Makes you productive Cons: You'll hate the mouse and keyboard
I need to call and apologize to every Mac user I've ever cast dispersions upon. After struggling for months trying to produce videos on a PC, I ordered an iMac DV Special Edition. Getting it out of the box took longer than setup — a two-minute,...

Pros: Speed, Firewire, iMovie, mirroring monitor and Airport capability Cons: keyboard and mouse, need to buy external removable storage
The formula of the iMac has been proven successful. Adding a 400MHz processor, (fastest iMac to date) FireWire ports and iMovie software brings desktop video to a new level.
To me the most exciting feature is the iMovie with FireWire. This...

Pros: Style, sound quality, reset button Cons: round mouse, black keyboard
This is Apple's top IMac (for now), and successfully tempted me back to another Apple, rather than the PC's most of my family and friends use. Apart from the really cool look - not just another boring set of tan boxes - the Apple operating system is...

Pros: fast, easy to use, stable, good value for components Cons: limited upgrade options, some may find monitor small
I have been using one of Apple's new iMacs, the DV Special Edition, for about 6 weeks now... and I think it's time to spread the good word.
Now, if you're looking for the nitty tech specs your best option is to go direct to www.apple.com/imac...

Pros: Great Value for the money, uses less physical space, fast, efficient and "sleek" looking Cons: NONE! We love it!
Having just upgraded from a 1996 Macintosh Performa to the iMac DV Special Edition, I feel as though I have truly entered a new millenium! Not only is this computer smaller in size and more efficient, space wise, it is fast, has outstanding resolution,...
