Pros: No moving parts (besides the wheel) means no dirt build up. Exceptionally precise. Cons: Might be too big for small hands
I've wanted to purchase a Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer since I heard of the technology last year. Only problem is, I didn't have $65 to spend on a mouse. Plus, what mouse could possibly be worth THAT MUCH....

Pros: Comfort - Scroll Bar - Scroll Button - Long Chord - Low Price Cons: Slightly Too Small For My Hands
If you happen to be using a mouse right now that does not have a scroll mouse you probably have no idea what you’re missing. I’ve used mice with scrolling wheels for over a year now and I am in love with them. The awkwardness and inconvenience...

Pros: Greatest design ever with the mouse! Cons: No left hand user support
I received this as a gift, but as a gadget lover, I was destined to be a "sure thing" for this mouse. The optical tracking with no moving parts makes this a huge step forward. If the net is a place you spend a great deal of time, this again...

Pros: Cool looks, no mouse ball, ease to use Cons: more expensive, software problem, dis-coloring.
I wasn't looking to replace my Logitech wheel mouse since it works just fine. Not until a friend told me that she could get one for me for only $20 from the microsoft company store. I knew about this mouse for a long time and really interested to own...

Pros: no track ball, ergonomic design, cool looks, extra buttons Cons: no left handed version
Are you tired of having to clean your dust infested mouse every week or so? Does your mouse's tracking performance cause you to bang it on your desk to get a response? Would you like a cool device that will impress your friends and office mates? If so I...

Pros: Navigation buttons on the side, wheel, you never have to clean it Cons: huge, only for right handers, LED isnt reliable
I purchased the Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer in October of 1999, soon after it was released. The time had come for me to replace my el-cheapo mouse with something a tad bit more reliable, and I figured the Intellimouse explorer was about as reliable...

Pros: Responsive, sleek, cool red light! Cons: Side buttons may get in the way.
Epinions is missing one SKU but this applies most to this one (This review is for the Intellimouse Optical which is very similar to the Intellimouse Explorer).
I bought an IntelliMouse Optical mouse which is the smaller version of the...

Pros: Use anywhere, hot-swap, 5 buttons, and NO Ball! Cons: Cost more than I wanted to spend but worth it in the end.
Someone suggested I get this mouse for playing an online game (Half-Life) because of all the extra programmable buttons. At first glance I was a little put off by the price having been weaned on cheap $4.99 mice that I would just replace once they...

Pros: Flexible about work surface, Interface friendly Cons: Sometimes gets "lost" by system
One of these days, someone is going to invent a decent laptop pointing device. Touchpads have gotten better over the years, but are still an inferior way to point and particularly awkward to right-click with. The Centrally Located Interface Tool (that...

Pros: New buttons, wheel is great, no ball, for lefties and righties, and very comfortable Cons: none
As a Mac user, I was always jealous of the new mouse that Microsoft came out for Windows. It had everything that I had wanted for browsing the internet. When I heard that they came out with a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer for Macintosh, I had to get...

Pros: Smooth, accurate, easy and comfortable Cons: gaudy and cheap feel
I’d like to start by saying that the first mouse to ever really impress me was the Logitech Mouseman +. I really liked the curved feel of the mouse and the extra thumb button. I never thought about changing, even after I saw the Microsoft optical mice....

Pros: No mouse ball, superb accuracy, 5 buttons and a wheel Cons: expensive, bulky
The Microsoft Intellimouse explorer was a revolutionary idea from Microsoft. The lack of the mouse ball was a great help to stop the mouse from sticking at a vital point in a online Death-match game. the extra buttons can be configered to use as options...

Pros: Comfortable, high sensitivity, no mousepad needed Cons: Price
I was out shopping one day at the office supply store and saw the Intellimouse Explorer on the shelf. I wasn't really looking for a new mouse but this one looked interesting. I had also heard that the resolution (sensitivity/accuracy) of the USB mice was...
