Pros: Powerful, lightweight, huge screen, looks great Cons: Very poor customer service -- especially concerning that screen
I use my TiBook as my primary computer at home and as my secondary machine at work. It was plenty powerful enough to let me take some of my work on the road (I'm a graphic designer), and I figured it would be a great way to make client presentations,...

Pros: Simply the fastest laptop on the market! Cons: It can't carry-on a conversation very well.
The Titanium Powerbook G4 is screamingly fast. Not to mention the absolutely cool looking 99.5% commercially pure titanium casing. At 667mhz the G4 chip inside the new powerbook with a 133mhz bus can squash even a 1.3ghz pentium.
The...

Pros: Elegant looks and feel, good screen Cons: trackpad is not user friendly, base model not fast on OSX
We recently purchased a powerbook G4 400 as a gift for our new college grad and have some thoughts. First the young lady that received the computer thought it was wonderful. She liked the sleek looks and light (about 5 pounds) weight. The screen display...

Pros: beautiful, slim Cons: tempermental, VERY fragile
I've owned my titanium powerbook for 3 months.
It's beauty is apparent in pictures, but you have to own and use it for awhile
to learn of its problems.
-fragile (titanium is strong but this machine's shell is paper-thin and even...

Pros: LARGE screen, lightweight in relation to size, powerful Cons: Keys get very hot, CD player sounds like it is going to explode
As a longtime Mac user, I've found the Titanium to be a nice improvement to the Apple laptop series. The widescreen is very easy on the eyes. The computer is powerful, yet relatively small. Installing and replacing RAM is a breeze
However,...

Pros: Big screen and long battery life Cons: Expensive
The Titanium Powerbook G4 is definitely a great-looking product, with a healthy list of power-house specs behind those looks. When the screen backlight kicks in you are in heaven, suddenly the display looks even bigger. Apple's New G4 Titanium PowerBook...

Pros: DV package for consumers is unrivaled Cons: HD space limited for storage
Most folks here have already talked about how sexy and sleek the Titanium PowerBook G4 is (and boy is it) so I'd like to talk about the consumer digital video aspects.
[When I say DV package I mean the whole picture including digital...

Pros: Lighweight, great speed, CD Drive, lots of ports. Cons: Hotspot in screen.
Apple has wowed the investors and the people since the invention of the imac. Than the idea was copied and then put into other computer like the "compaqe Presario 5000T" The colors make all the difference to the comsumer.

Pros: Best Apple laptop ever Cons: Too expensive just as the PowerBook G3 was in its time
I own an iBook and a PC laptop and I am jealous.
The G4 Titanium laptop is the greatest thing I have ever seen Apple come out with:
just over 5 pounds
400 or 500 MHz G4 Altivec processor
slot loading DVD
firewire,...

Pros: Lightweight, easily portable, great performance Cons: Gets a bit hot, cables tricky to remove
I've had my TiBook for about 6 weeks now, and in that time it's become the only computer I use. It has met or exceed almost all my expectations.
I opted to spend the extra money & get the 500 MHz CPU & 20 GB hard drive instead of the stock...

Pros: strong, light, powerful, coool Cons: $$$$
Apple Titanium PowerBook G4 is cool. I don't own one personally but one of my friend just bought one. I checked it up and what could I say? It is cool.
A lot of people had told my friend that G4 only went up to 500 MHz. Does that really...

Pros: Ti sheen Cons: most major software not compatible with mac os x .expensive
This mac laptop uses 2 very different and very confusing systems:
- "classic mac os"
and
- "mac os x"
Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak recently declared that mac os x is "not ready for primetime." For example,...

Pros: Wide screen viewable from any angle, fast, quiet, great for DVD's Cons: Scratches easily, occasional dead pixels, Airport reception could be better, no CDRW drive, keyboard design
I have never been so in love with a computer before! I bought my 500Mhz Apple Titanium laptop in March 2001. Mine was manufactured on March 3rd and has been going strong every day since I bought it. I've owned previous Apple and PC laptops (Apple...
