Pros: More memory, slick design. Cons: Not a very versitile PDA. Some design flaws.
If you’ve seen my opinion on the Palm V model, then you may be wondering why this opinion is almost the same thing. Well that because these two models of Palms are almost the same. They feature pretty much the same things, only this one is an upgrade- so...

Pros: Ultra slim design, 8mb's of ram, good size display, Lithium Ion battery Cons: no expansion ports or slots but the serial adapter, black and green color only.
Does anyone like my title? LOL, I was kidding.
Lets think of the uses of a Palm Vx, from a student's point of view.
About 2 weeks ago I was just using my computer with no thoughts about Palm pilots, Pocket PCs or any sort of...

Pros: Has a serious cool factor with good expandability, light weight, small form factor and more. Cons: Backlight is a joke, as is some of Palm's mentalities towards their product line.
The Palm Vx made me a believer in PDAs. I have tried many previous models, from the brick-like Newton to the clamshell HP models, and all were just not quite there. Some say that their attempts to be a PC is what killed those devices, and the Palm tries...

Pros: Slick, sleek, light-weight. Onboard batteries (no more AA's!), charging stand (one-button "hot sync"), metal stylus, great new backlight Cons: black and white display
Gone are the days (for me at least) of clunky, square-edged PDA's. I wouldn't part with my beautiful Palm Vx under most any circumstances, it's as much a statement about me, as a digital assistant from heaven!
I received my Palm Vx as a gift...

Pros: Small. Elegant design. Graffiti easy system to learn. Cons: Small. Fragile. Accessories cost a fortune. Overpriced!
Okay, I must admit that I cannot objectively give you a review on if the Palm Vx is worth the big bucks you will wind up shelling out for it. I won a contest in my company for creating the name for our intranet site. First prize was my Palm Vx.

Pros: Beautiful case Cons: no color or wireless in V series case
The Palm Pilot Vx is most assuredly the best PDA in the Palm family, but it still doesn't combine all the best features of each of the Palm devices. My decision making process might explain why I believe this way.
The Palm Vx has the most...

Pros: Great style, many supporting accessories are available, memory capacity! Cons: More costly than a Handspring, but worth the investment!
Last month, I was spending a day of culture in New York City. A cab had just dropped me off in front of the Metropolitan Museum of Art when I realized that I had left my Palm PDA on the back seat when I reached into my wallet to pay the fare. "Oh,...

Pros: Lots of memory Cons: The price
I love the palm V and I love the palm Vx! It has 8mb of memory, that is nearly 4 times as much as the palm V. With this extra memory you can store all sorts of things. It can store 3000 to do lists 3000 memos 400 email messages and that's not even the...

Pros: Excellent 3rd party support Cons: No real keyboard
I bought a Palm Pilot V and took it back after working with it for the whole day. I have been using a Zaurus 5800 and the Palm Pilot did not meet my needs. I consider myslf pretty savy in learning how to use an organizer. Here is what I wrote to a...

Pros: great screen, wonderful functionality Cons: not waterproof ;)
I kept seeing everyone carrying their little Palm Pilot hand-held computers around. They'd pull them out everywhere and play with them; a cynic might say they pulled them out anywhere they thought someone would be watching.
Then I started...

Pros: Light Weight, Small, Sleek, Stylish, Fast, Lots of Memory Cons: No Included Expansion Capability
So, you're in the market for a PDA (Personal Data Assistant)? Well, welcome to the latest arm of the computer industry. Let's take a look at what’s available, shall we? US Robotics: Palm Pilot (and many variations), 3Com: PalmIII (and variations: IIIe,...

Pros: Upgrade is easy, new operating system is great, small Cons: Case isn't as sturdy as the Palm IIIe
My old Palm IIIe fell off my desk one too many times. It had taken quite a bit of abuse over it's lifetime. I dropped it once onto a steel floor down two stories after bouncing off someone's head and it survived. But one little fall off a desk and the...

Pros: Lots of features in a small package Cons: Power switch is kind of a pain, a case would be nice
I've had my Palm Vx for about 3 weeks now and am totally amazed by it.
My previous PDA was the original Palm Personal. The Vx is leaps and bounds better.
LIKES: The Palm Vx does just about everything (calender, phone book, to do list,...

Pros: Light, powerful, attractive Cons: Overpriced accessories, poor visibility in low light
Let me start off by saying that when it comes to technology, I have two requirements: usability and industrial design. I have no problems paying extra for an item if it does what I want it to and looks great as well. Anybody taking a look at my tech...

Pros: "Me Too" Technology, PC synch Cons: Lousy computer, lousy PDA
Palm Pilots and their copycats are taking over the world - so why compare the Zaurus - this relic of PDA technology - with these millennium handheld units? Because the venerable Zaurus still does a better job than these digital fad-gadgets at doing...
