Pros: Free! No Ad Banner! Cons: Only one access number in Atlanta. Gets knocked off the Web regularly.
WorldSpy.com
Worldspy is the second free Internet service provider I’ve tried.
You may already know that I’ve been using Juno for a while, now, and have no major complaints about it. It’s fast, has a lot of access numbers in...

Pros: Free ISP, No adbar Cons: Few Access numbers
WorldSpy is a free Internet Service Provider. I have been using it for over a month and I like it better than NetZero or Alta Vista. I can usually connect at 52K or higher and there is no adbar to eat up memory. With the absence of an adbar I find...

Pros: Free! No, not too good to be true! Cons: How can I complain? It's free!
WorldSpy is the third free internet service provider I have tried. So far, it is the best. Requiring only that I make it my start page, WorldSpy has given me fast sign on, great baud rates, and no rotten viewbars to shuffle around my monitor screen....

Pros: Couldn't think of one! Cons: 8 meg file, bad login, Windows 2000 Problems.
I do not like this Free ISP. The service is not bad, its actually a pretty good connect speed, but just to make the stupid ISP work, you have to download an 8 meg file which contains a program to connect to WorldSpy.net. I mean, downloading an 8 meg file...

Pros: It was great while it lasted... Cons: But it didn't last that long.
There have been rumors that Wordspy was in financial difficulty, and was going to shut down. Of course, the Pollyanna in me wouldn't believe it, but now I do. Sorry to say, folks, I will no longer recommend Worldspy as one of the premier access...

The End Has Come
For Free ISP Favorite WorldSpy
The end has come and there is a soul in my Internet soul. My favorite free ISP WorldSpy has given up the ghost and sold its customer base to free ISP...

Pros: relatively speedy connections, lack of advertisements, no time limitations Cons: no Usenet newsgroups, slightly annoying dialer, Windows only, IE4 required
For those of you using only free ISPs, WorldSpy now offers internet service through MicroPortal. It doesn't have a lot of the bells and whistles some of the other ISPs provide (free web space, Usenet newsgroups, online chat), but they do provide...

Pros: Fast, free service Cons: The old software was buggy, but it's been improved
If you tried Worldspy's free internet service a few months ago and were disappointed, I really recommend that you try it again. They have vastly improved the connection software, and I now get quick, reliable, and best of all free...

Pros: No Banners, Good Speed Cons: worldSPY isn't just their name, according to their user agreement. Privacy is an eroding hill in an internet rainstorm. Their user agreement adds to the trickle.
Now that's a good sign. I'm one of those people who reads every clause of an agreement, even an online one. Some of them cause me great trepidation, others, not so bad. Worldspy got the scrutiny this morning, and look, I'm still smiling.

Pros: Worldspy offers clean, uncluttered free Internet access. Cons: WorldSpy recently taken over by Juno. Hello adbar!
In Its Day WorldSpy Won FreeNet Tug-of-War
And Some FreeInet Bullies Netted Big Zeros
OK. I admit it. I was an AOL addict. I had been, for as long as I remember there being an Internet.
I had been seduced by the sexy...

Pros: It's FREE! Cons: CompuServe/AOL Email is Better
I was so skeptical of a free service with NO banner ads that I kept and paid for CompuServe for 6 months until I felt comfortable that Worldspy works. It does! As a matter of fact it works better than CompuServe!
The original software download...

Pros: bannerless, no time-limits, pop3 & smtp, free Cons: crash, crash, crash, crash, crash, won't shut down, crash, crash, crash.
UPDATE: WorldSpy has shut their doors and is recommending their users to switch to the free internet provided by Juno. Version 2 of the software was much better, but that is no longer pertinent. End Update.
WorldSpy offers free internet...

Pros: fast reliable connection Cons: big huge download with LOTS of bugs
Every since I first heard of free isp from a friend, I have been trying to find one that my husband would like, namely, something without an add banner. Well, I thought I had finally found it in worldspy. I had previously downloaded and tested...

Pros: Fast Connections, No Ad Bars, Completely Free, Free E-Mail Cons: Bad Software
Do not let the fact that I'm currently connected to the Internet via WorldSpy.net influence you. Although WorldSpy.net may seem like a good idea, is it getting too crowded? My job isn't to make a decision for you, just to provide the facts and help you...
