Great clean sound from Yamaha

Pros: Incredibly clean sound. Great surround sound system for a smaller room.
Cons: Annoying delay in switching between different sound settings, complex remote.
This is a great sound system for small to mid-sized rooms. Yamaha is well known for their crisp pure sound and the RX-396 does not disappoint here. I sound tested several other consumer-end-of-the-market systems from Sony, Onkyo and Pioneer and the...

Excellent Budget Surround Amp

Pros: Wide range of uses. Cheap as now!
Cons: Skinny little remote!! Buttons that do 3 differant things!! No equaliser. No DTS
