Pros: A first generation unit Cons: No comment
I had high hopes for the Nomad Jukebox. I purchased it because of theglowing reviews I found everywhere, especially on Creative's excellent support newsgroup.Maybe my high hopes set false expectations, or maybe I'm just though to please, but I was not...

Pros: It has a huge amount of memory for songs Cons: It is the size of a discman and that is big compared to other mp3's
The highest price that I can recall that the Jukebox was at, was $499. Recently, the price has been slashed by $200, and it is now $299. The Jukebox was worth it at $499, and now it is REALLY worth it at only $299. This thing comes loaded with 6GB of...

Pros: Stores 100's of CD's worth of digital audio, great quality sound Cons: a bit pricey, short battery life
The selling point of the Nomad Jukebox has got to be its storage capacity -- a whopping 6 gigabytes! That's enough space to store over 100 CD's worth of digital audio tracks. Also, there is no need for any removable media such as compact flash cards,...

Pros: Huge capacity, easy to find accessories, constantly upgraded firmware (2 upgrades in first 3 months already) Cons: Pricey, only a 4 hour battery life.
This was my first portable MP3 player purchase. I had wanted one for a while, but only having 32 or 64 MB just was not enough. I seriously considered getting a CD-R MP3 player for a while, but ultimately I wanted to get away from having to use CD's....

Pros: Almost everything Cons: Five hour battery life, but rechargeable and comes with two sets of batteries
Wow! This CD-player sized unit is on the brink of perfection. The Creative Labs Nomad Jukebox is the most ingenious device to hit the MP3 player market since HanGo's Personal Jukebox. Unfortunately for the sleek HanGo unit, it just got blown away by...

Pros: Great Sound!; Very User-Friendly; Great Features for Organizing your Music; Great Headphones Cons: Poor Battery Life; Would be nice if a little smaller
Overall, I give the Creative Nomad Jukebox a very high rating. I have read many reviews on mp3 players from people who are looking for the absolute perfect device, and therefore bring out any negative they can (no matter how small). The fact is, I...

Pros: Highly Portable, Huge Storage, Excellent Sound Quality Cons: Short battery life, the biggest of all of the Mp3 players
I'm a music and gadget fanatic and when I first learnt of MP3 I was excited. I can finally store all of my music on the harddrive, play them without flipping CD's, and have customized playlists but the problem was storing MP3's on a computer which I use...

Pros: Good sound, but an expensive and unreliable product Cons: 90 day warranty, pathetic tech support, lousy website and manual, this company couldn't care less
I bought 2 Nomad Jukeboxes for my daughters in January. Now one of them has a defective hard drive. It has never been dropped or mishandled in any way.
I PAID $500 A PIECE FOR THESE PRODUCTS 5 MONTHS AGO AND JUST NOW DISCOVERED THAT...

Pros: Lots of great features Cons: No fast forward or rewind
Loading music onto your MP3 player used to be an exercise in patience, math and frustration, with a close eye monitoring bitrates and file sizes so as not to fill up the precious 32 or 64 MB of memory.
Well, it's a different story today as we...

Pros: Great way to take nearly your entire music collection anywhere you go Cons: Accompanying software a bit quirky, but getting better. Battery life is limited
Mobile Tunes
Unless you've been off the planet for the past several years, you are at least familiar with the music format called "MP3". Basically, it allows music to be stored in a tenth of the space it usually takes on your traditional...

Pros: Great sound quality and portability Cons: Still some bugs in the firmware
I deferred in writing my review so that I would have ample time to thoroughly evaluate this product. It's been almost 2 weeks since I bought the Nomad Jukebox and so far I can say I'm generally satisfied with it. At first I was worried about the reports...

One thing changes everything for this little beauty. Although it's nearly a year old now, Creative Labs has just dropped the price of this amazing little unit to UNDER $300. Whilst there web page claims they will be available for under $270 (And I...
