I bought this D-EJ01 in Singapore in Feb 2001 and was quite disappointed with what I got. I'll focus on the negative aspects of the cd-player as I feel the good points have definitely been covered by the other 12+ reviews.

This is truly a beautiful portable CD player. It's has a metal housing that I've always found appealing. I just don't care for the feel or look of plastic systems. It also has has some of the best sound quality found on a CD Walkman.
