Pros: Good visual quality, Sony reliability Cons: Player has an "old" feel. DVDs start into previews instead of menu.
I recently traded in my Hitachi DVD player for this reasonably priced Sony DVD player. It has been a good, solid machine and I have noticed no technical defects as of yet. This is what you pay for with Sony. I have a Sony TV and two Sony floor speakers...

Pros: Easy to use, simple, works great Cons: a little too much on-screen display
Now don't get me wrong, you can go ahead and spend $500-$1000 for a DVD player, but what is the point? All they do is play DVDs... sure some can hold more Discs, or have more powerful features, but they all do the same thing.
And if you dont...

Pros: all around good Cons: non
This Sony DVD player is one of the better ones that you will get for your money. If you are going to buy a DVD player, why not buy it from the company that helped to start it all and is a head of the rest. The picture on this player is very sharp and...

Pros: quality, features Cons: none
I decided to buy a DVD player and did a fair amount of research and scoured the internet before deciding on one of two brands, either a Toshiba or Sony. In the end, I decided to go with a Sony and hit my local Circuit City to see what kind of deals they...

The Sony DVP-S360 is a great DVD player at a very affordable price. I bought this DVD player a few months ago and have had no problems with it whatsoever. The picture quality is great and Sony carried it's great technology in scanning, searching, ease...

Pros: phenomonal picture, smart use oftechnology Cons: none
At first, when I saw this DVD player on sale at 269.99, i thought "you gota be kidding me". That seemed a bit expensive, but after watching the floor model, i was glued to it. The sound...perfect, picture...perfect as well. Now, after having this for...

Pros: easy to install and great picture quality Cons: a lot of money for a college kid
I really enjoy watching movies, and all my friends would brag to me about how they could get extra features and better quality on their dvd's, so I checked some players out on epinions and the Sony DVP-S360 looked like a good buy, so I went out and got...

Pros: HIGH QUALITY VIDEO AND SOUND, cheap!! Cons: Only Loads one disc, Doesn't have luxury options
This 360 unit has all the video outputs one needs, including component video. Is 5.1 and DTS compatible. (Just need the proper home amp.) The video and sound are superb! They rival units that cost 2x and even 3x as much. In most cases, I think its just...

Pros: Price, Size, ease of use, like a high end product Cons: None
This was one of my smarter buys. I was looking at many different models from Harmon Kardon, Denon, Yamaha, etc....I thought the high end was the way to go. I realized that Toshiba was a leader since they have had the DVD technology longer. But price...

Pros: Easy to use, great price Cons: The player I bought didn't come with a cord to connect to my TV
I purchased this DVD player a few months ago for $250.00 less a $50.00 mail-in rebate. It has worked great, which is far more than I can say about our previous DVD player (Oritron - which I had never heard of before). It never skips, and sound and...

Pros: Worked well at first Cons: Quit working too soon
I bought this player over less expensive models because I thought that the Sony name was worth it. Worked well at first, although I found the player mechanism a bit noisy and the buttons on the remote small and hard to locate in the dark. After about a...
