With the Koss TD-80 headphones, you can really pump up the bass! I havn't had any problems with these headphones. They work really well wiht my compact cd player and with my stereo. The ear pieces really filter out all other noise, and with this, I can...
Pros: loud and can handle the bass that I need Cons: none
Koss headphones are just what any music enthusiast needs. The comfort of the leather wrap over the ears is very nice. Also the strong headband makes a person’s fit secure place on the head. The sound is impeccable with 43mm drivers on both ears that...
Pros: Comfortable, great sound, separate ear volume control, long cord, excellent warranty program Cons: bulky, hard to carry around all over the place w/out breaking
I was at Circuit City one day with a $50 gift card, wondering what I could buy. I had recently gotten a new portable cd player that was top of the line but that had substandard headphones. What's the use of buying a great cd player if the sound is...
As a college student, I purchased these headphones because I needed something for listening to tv and music on my computer, and I wanted it to sound good without being distracted by outside noise.
At first I didn't think I should buy these headphones since they were so big, but I was wrong. These headphones rock! You should go out and buy these, after you read and rate my epinion.
The headphones seem to amplify and add bass to the...
Pros: Quality of construction; volume control for computer gaming Cons: short cord;
I bought these headphones after returning a pair of Sony headphones. I've owned them for over two years and have been fairly satisfied with them. For the price, they are close to the sound of Grado phones.
Pros: mid and upper frequency response Cons: muddy bass, uncomfortable
I've had my TD-80s for well over 2 1/2 years now. I bought them after hearing them at a local Border's. Border's (Book store) was using these as the headphones to listen to CDs. I expected them to cost a load of money, well over $75. How happy I was to...
Pros: Excellent response, strong bass, very clear highs w/o being painful Cons: Unbelievably uncomfortable for even short periods of time
Preface
High fidelity should never have to come at the cost of ultra high prices. One can often be surprised by the quality found in some less expensive products. This is especially true with Koss. For years they have been making some of...
Pros: High quality sound, Good bass, Coiled headphone cord, Volume controls, Sturdy construction Cons: Often uncomfortable, Small range of motion, Sound bleeds out during use
Right off the bat I'll say that these headphones have a really good sound. The bass is also exceptionally deep.
I like the coiled cord for the headphones because it doesn't drape around and get caught on things. I've tripped several times...
Pros: Decent sound for the price Cons: A tad heavy and uncomfortable to wear
Perhaps it's a rite of passage, but these are good headphones for a beginner. They have good sound quality and I've used Koss products before, such as a CD player and stereo and their products are generally reliable.
I've been spending a lot of time in the computer lab at my school lately, and I usually plug into whichever headphones are lying around. Recently I came across these Koss TD80 headphones and was a little bit surprised with the poor quality of these ...
Pros: Pretty good sound, and deep base Cons: Very uncomfortable, better suited as a torture device
I bought this product as a better headphone for my Mptrip. Mainly I got it through the reviews from this place. A few people said it pinched their ears, but I got it anyway.
The sound is pretty good. The bass is pretty rich. I found that wind...
Pros: High Quality sound, nice padding, look good Cons: floppy speaker arms get tangled in cord, comfort could be better.
Purchased my Koss TD-80s a few years back, they are tough and durable, have dropped them on hard floor many times and still work fine. Sound quality is excellent but my right ear sometimes gets a little sore after a few hours of listening, might be because of my big ears ?? Fits all head sizes and looks great. Definite value for money !
Pros: Comfortable, good mid-range, and priced right. Cons: limited volume, weak base, & sick upper range
The Koss TD/80 are a little better than average, but I wasn't satisfied. Weak base and tinny sounding upper range. I listen to jazz, and a trumpet solo sounded like a tweety bird. Upper range clarity isn't full. If your not fussy, the TD/80's will do, but they sounded weak to me.
