Pros: Disk Storage & Ease Of Use Cons: Low Picture Quality
I am very satisfied with my MVC-FD73. It seems easier to use than a film camera. The disk storage, view screen, and easy operation and adjustability are what make this a no-brainer for the beginner digital photographer or online auctioneer.

Pros: Light-weight, great storage medium, impressive zoom, acceptable battery life Cons: Poor "print-out" quality, bulkier than 35mm cameras
At $450-500, the Mavica FD-73 is a bit out of some families' price range. When one considers that a good camcorder can be purchased for substantially less, one might question why someone would want a digital camera in the first place.
