Pros: The only available combo CD / Tape for small cars Cons: Quality? eh..
Why did I buy this?
Quality and Price
I wanted high quality CD and still be able to play tapes in my standard size car. There are other combo CD/Tape units on the market, but only for Double DIN (SUVs) installations. ...
Pros: Plays CD-Rs
Many features
Built-in CD Controller Cons: Manual doesn't disclose 7-day break-in period before CDs will play without skipping.
After toying with the idea of replacing my factory stereo, my decision was made after discovering a Jensen CM-720K on clearance for $150 at a local Sears. Since combos like it regularly sell for $350 or more, I couldn't pass up the bargain.
Pros: The ability of having a CD and Tape in one for GM/Chrysler. Cons: Everything. Horrible looks, skips like crazy, cheap buttons, and does not play CDR's
I bought this head unit to replace my stock tape deck and to be able to play CDs along with tapes. What a mistake! I honestly had to force myself to use it just until I could afford to sell it (thank you Ebay) and buy a quality product.
Pros: It was the cheapest 1.5 din stereo with cd and a tape deck. Cons: Lousy controls, counter-intuitive setup, four of them broke in regular use.
I bought this stereo at Circut City with the extended warranty (for the first time the warranty was a good deal). Long story short, I went through FOUR of these before giving up and going back to the factory stereo.
Annoying problems like the radio playing (at the same volume as the cd) while you are listening to a cd, or the stereo randomly turning itself off, or the display screen not working in very cold weather.
