*HS-U776* near pro unit in a consumer chassis

Pros: superior video/audio quality, many nice conveniences
Cons: consumer chassis (but still better than most)
Synopsis:

The HS-U776 is the successor to the highly-successful HS-U775. The 776 is a great machine with professional S-VHS quality in a consumer-oriented chassis.

great performer low cost

Pros: Excellent Video Quality
Cons: No flying erase heads or audio dubbing
I have always purchased JVC SVHS VCRS until recently. I entered the SVHS arena early back in 1987. I do wedding videography, shooting in HI-8 and dubbing to SVHS. I have had problems with dropouts on JVC SVHS VCR'S I've used. The machines seem very...
