Pros: design is beautiful Cons: cant use ordinary batteries, cheap earphones, no belt clip
I've been hearing about the MD-702 from my friends and they only have high praises for them. so i followed their advice and Im glad i did!!! it's so easy to use, just insert the disc and it plays automatically, cool remote, but didn't like the earphones...

Pros: Reliable, Great sound quality, Mic level adjuster, Optical in. Cons: Obsolete though nothing has appeared to replace it.
I bought this minidisc recorder for £99 in December 1999. It still works! While its use has been fairly moderate (and less so since I purchased a mp3 player. More portable but the minidisc still has better sound!) I've used it today to record my bands rehearsal and have used it for spoken word art projects. It even survived a drop on the pavement a few years ago when a mugger tried to take it from me!
