Pros: Mostly clear reception Cons: Angry, vindictive Customer Svc Reps, monopoly, unexplained outages with no re-imbursement
Ok. the cable in Colorado Springs was Century and was bought by Adelphia.
Frankly, I didn't notice any difference. The way I see it, mud on your car is still mud on the car and it doesn't matter where it came from.
Century was the ONLY cable...

Pros: used to work fine Cons: STATIC, late servicemen
Adelphia has been working alright in the past, but with recent storms, it has been going in and lately. It was especially frustrating when watching ER, trying to find out if Dr Carter was gonna live, and then STATIC. Then it would come back in, then...

Pros: You do get cable.
Cons: They will do ANYTHING to take your money except give you good service.
My brother ordered Adelphia Cable TV with the cable box and remote. The cable box is nice since it shows you what shows are on. Anyways, a few months ago, the cable box started to act flakey. A few channels would read "one moment please" and NEVER ...

Pros: I can watch TV and surf the internet Cons: Service is old, They do not listen to their customers, and bill incorrectly
Adelphia has gotten lucky that Cable is not deregulated or no one would use them. Where they go wrong: 1. They are always months behind other cable companies in updating their services and adding/changing their channel line-up. 2 years after other ...

Pros: Digital cable and Powerlink Cons: Cable goes out if it snows 1"
I get Adelphia Digital cable and Powerlink high speed internet service in Waterville Maine. They are the only game in town cable wise so my only other choice is to get DSS, but in my area local channels aren't available.
From what I've read all over...

Pros: None that I can think of. Cons: Price and quality of product.
I get the basic cable. My bill for 12 channels was less than $10 back in December. The during the first of the year, they "improved" our channel line-up and I now pay over $16 for 13 channels. Since this "upgrade" to our cable system, the pictures ...

Pros: Had helpful tech support a few times. Cons: Ready to register Ihateadelphia.com
I have had Adelphia cable for a number of years and never had much of a problem when we lived in CT. Now that we are in Virginia, I am ready to move to get away from their clutches. We have DVR service, every so often the DVR box will "forget" how ...

Pros: Quick, easy installation Cons: Poor customer service.
24 hr. or more loss in service averages once per month.
Having been a customer of Adelphia Digital Cable Service for almost one year, I have found that, contrary to the advertisements with which they flood the media, customer care and satisfaction is not their goal. Loss of service for 24 hours or more is...

Pros: High Speed Internet Service is great when it is working. Clarity of some digital channels. Cons: Poor channel selection, robbing bandwidth from analog so Adelphia can add HD stations.
I have the misfortune of living in an area that is only serviced by Adelphia cable. In the past two years, I have had four substantial rate increases. Fortunately, I have a package that includes Adelphia High Speed Internet Access (great when it is ...

Pros: Very inexpensive Cons: no cons in my book
I have been with Adelphia cable for over 5 years and it is great! I get over 60 channels, their monthly rate is inexpensive. If you get the cable box from them you can order pay per view, their customer service is great. When we moved, they were supposed...

Pros: The basic & slight upgrades are fine. Cons: High cost for poor quality when it comes to digital.
Digital Cable, for the price I would become ill every time I look at my bill. I enjoy television more than the average person but, to pay the high price for not so high quality is not a service I would like provided.
I find that I am most...
