Pros: They offer relatively good service at a reasonable price. Cons: They increase price very often.
The service is frequently interrupted for no apparent reason. The programming choices are adequate and signal comes in strong. However, service is interrupted even without bad weather conditions. Also, price is increased very frequently and you do not...

Pros: None Cons: High prices, No selection of channels, VERY Poor customer service, Terrible PPV support
In the WNY area, the cable service just stunk to high heaven! When I first went with cable here in the city I went for the "Digital Cable", I was told I would have 35 more channels than any other satellite company could ever bring me. I was...

Pros: Price, free install/free month, everything else Cons: Bad corporate policies
Well I must say that I have digital cable from Adelphia and have for about 2 weeks now. I have all the channels the $68/mo package, which is a great deal for the amount of movie channels and other channels. I am of coarse on Adelphia’s wonderful free for...

Pros: You can watch a megaton of sports Cons: A complete waste of money for non-sports fans
Adelphia Cable has been promoting the newest advance in cable technology - digital cable. But does it really measure up to all the hype? Not in my opinion. Adelphia seems to think that the word 'digital' is magic - just tack it on in front of anything...

Pros: Don't even think about it, find another way!!!!!!!! Cons: This space just isn't big enough!!!!!!!!
I've tried to switch to a dish but, I can't cause of the trees around my house. I can't get ATT when the people a 1/4 of a mile down the road can because there's a monopoly when it comes to cable. So, I'm just stuck. I'm about to start recording my...

Pros: The only cable company in town Cons: Just not worth it
I have had this cable service for a little over a year and I am very disapointed in the services i have received. The only reason I have continued my service is becuase, where we live you have to have cable to watch t.v. And I think that this company...

Pros: better picture Cons: cost too much money for basic cable
I disagree on your opinion about the cost of adelphia cable. I think the company is ripping people off. When they first started out they charged something like $12 per month and now it is over $30 per month just for basic cable I find that ridiculous....

Pros: Cable services are relatively good! Cons: Customer Service is PATHETIC and so is "Autopay."
We've had digital cable services since early this year. I only called Adelphia once for disrupted services. This is not my issue with Adelphia, however.
THE PROBLEM
We set up through Adelphia for a service called Autopay -- where...

Pros: Price Cons: "Customer Care"
My family and I have been trying to get our cable turned on for four days, to no avail. We never had problems with Century, but now. I was practically called a liar by their "Customer Care" Rep. I was told that they had come at 3:10 PM, on...

Adelphia Cable...specifically, in Southern Ocean County, New Jersey. GIMME A BREAK! Yes, shouting, screaming....and hoping someone hears better here then they do with the "subscriber polls" or whatever they call them. Yoo-hooooo! No Court...

Pros: Digital service available
Sometimes polite customer service Cons: Constant pixelation on digital channels
Field reps don't keep appointments
Reception outages constantly
When Adelphia took over the territory for Century Communications here in Los Angeles, I thought finally I would get some decent reception, friendly customer service and field technicians who knew something about cable tv. How wrong I was. In the more...

Pros: Has a large number of channels available with the basic Cons: Customer Service, Price (3 years ago I was paying $29 per month for what now costs me $45 per month.
In October of 1996, I moved from my apt. where I had Adelphia Cable (there was no choice for me, it was the only cable service offered for that complex). Since I moved on a Sunday, I left the converter box and remote in the manager's office, with the...

Pros: Just like having a satellite dish Cons: Overpriced
I totally agree with the opinion that Adelphia cable is overpriced and their customer service is almost non-existent.
Of course, they DO have a wide variety of channels and with digital cable, which is what I have, it is just like having a...
