I enjoyed the experience. This is a great card for people who love to travel like I do. Often if I present this card at Hilton hotels they upgrade me!

Useless for travelers. Points do not convert to air miles for most airlines. Hilton has 3 hotels in Anchorage, AK I called in Dec 03 for a room in July 04 and was told no rooms were available. I go online right after they tell me that there are no rooms and i am able to book rooms in all 3 Hiltons!

I had a very healthy credit line with Amex Hilton honors.  Then Amex chopped it in half and a month later chopped it a jaw-breaking 75% more.  They can shove it where the sun don't shine.

Amex executives could have cared less about me and my family.  We payed IN FULL our balances EACH MONTH!  That's the respect they gave us.  they want the suckers who pay the minimum due each month so they can soak them and drown them in 30% interest rates.

Hilton's got no friend in Amex.  When Amex unfairly cuts your credit line as low as they did me, I am no longer interested in booking at Hilton.  Amex are a bunch of thieves and I am gladly a Citi Hilton honors member now with a decent limit.  My cut-up Amex card is on its way to their executive offices.  No wonder the American economy is so screwed up!
