Pros: Good graphics, animation and sound Cons: BORING and NO REAL MAJOR GOALS
This game is definitely ONE OF A KIND! It has really good graphics, sound, animation and tremendous control over the game. You literally live the lives of the Sims for them or you can just let them act on their merry own. The playability of this game is...

Pros: everything Cons: nothing
This game has gotta be one of my top pics. The game is basically you make houses, buy new things for the house, and control the people who live in the house. When you design your family (the people who you are going to control)you can pick their face and...

You will surely need a 12 step program after installing this game. I bought it on ebay. I got The sims and The sims' Livin' Large expansion pack off of Ebay. I paid $29.00 including shipping for the both of them. I would recommend...

Pros: Great graphics and interface! Cons: Major time consumer
I love Will Wright games as a whole, but what person wouldn't want to have control over someone's life, running every little detail like a mad scientist? This game probably is the most realistic of any of the Sim-games ever made. The engine is very...

Pros: Graphics, abilities, control, realism Cons: occasionally the sims can frustrate you a bit by doing what you don't want and not doing what you want
This is a game that can literally suck you in to it. It's very addicting and extremely fun. I purchased this game at the request of a friend, and I'm very glad I did. You can set up a family with whatever name you want. You can pick what the people look...

Pros: good game Cons: very addictive, frustrating at first
This game is, in the words of Tony the Tiger: GRRRRRRRRREEEEEAAAAATTTTTT!

Pros: Excellent graphics, very fun (while it lasts) Cons: Gets very boring once you know how to get what you want
Meddling in the lives of others--what fun! The Sims lets you take control of an entire neighbourhood of people, and control their lives to the extent that you see fit. It is fun, but it loses its replay value quickly.
Like the other Sim-games...

Pros: It's a sim game which lives up to the Maxis name. Cons: NONE!
Did you ever play with dolls (action-figures) as a kid and wish they would play back? The Sims captures that sensation wholly and packs into this virtual street of dollhouses which will addict you quicker than you can breathe.
When I picked...

Pros: very customizable Cons: not enough time in a day
My fiance purchased this game about a month ago. She had seen it in the store and instantly wanted to try it. I had played SimCity when it first came out and loved it. It was a different kind of game, very unlike any I had ever played before. It was...

Pros: makes time fly! Cons: may have difficulty getting skins from websites
I am not a PC game fanatic. However, my husband is addicted to them. Well, he bought The Sims a few months back after he became addicted to SimCity 3000. He was always egging me on to play The Sims. "Try it hon," he would say. "You...

Pros: Great graphics, and good ideas. Cons: Addictive, and a little labour intensive.
The Sims is an addictive little game that puts you in control of someone's life. You choose a family (or a single person, I suppose) and start off with some money, which you can use to buy your house and furniture within.
You get a job, work...
