Pros: Easy to use. Cons: Hard to clean, very slow
We bought this Krups Espresso Bravo Plus #872 machine as we enjoys a ice expresso and they cost over $3 and the machine
will pay for it's self in the first month as much as we drink. It's very easy to use just measure out the water and coffee for...

Pros: Simple, efficient espresso maker Cons: None
As the sole coffee and espresso drinker in the house, my needs run to the smaller machines. I don't need one that will make my espresso, wake me up and have the optional siren. What I do need is a solid, reliable machine that will last and last. Krups...

Pros: convenient, easy to use Cons: slow, leaks if not carefully closed
For $70 (20 visits to Starbucks), you get a pretty reasonable cappucino without the commute. Krups is fairly well built, and easy to clean. It is quite durable (the last model I bought last me over 5 years) and easy to clean. Make sure you use purified...

Pros: It works.. Cons: Hard to read instructions..
I love mochas. love them. I had never made any type of coffee in my life until I received this Krups Espresso Maker for Christmas this year. Upon opening this present, I was very excited. Three hours later when I was still staring at the directions,...

Pros: compact Cons: messy, hard to work,
I received this item as a Christmas gift. Its a lovely product, nicely made, and I especially liked the black finish. The machine is small, and compact, and living in an apartment, it didn't conquer the limited space in my kitchen.
I have used...

Used it once, took it back
by smr7 ,Jun 27 '04
Pros: Good-tasting espresso Cons: Noisy; makes only 1 shot
This machine only makes 1 shot of espresso at a time, so it was too inconvenient to use. I might have kept it though were it not for the NOISE! It makes a horribly loud, vibrating noise. Also, I was not that impressed with the milk frother - though maybe I just couldn't figure out how to use it.

7 years old and still making great lattes...
by linzjupiter ,Feb 16 '08
Pros: Makes consistently tasty espresso with good crema, and great lattes. Cons: Milk frother is a bit temperamental.
I bought this for my parents' 30th wedding anniversary, as my mum had become recently addicted to lattes. I didn't want to spend too much as I figured it might be a passing fancy. So I spent $100 at Sears on the Bravo Plus.
Sure enough, my mum made no effort to learn how to use it, and I took it home with me about 6 months later.
Seven years later it still makes great espresso and lattes. I use it at least once a day... so it's made at least 2500 lattes over its lifetime. I use a certain absurdly popular coffee bar's ground espresso in it, and it turns out even better in my machine than at the store.
My glass carafe finally broke today after 7 years, and I ordered a replacement online. It should arrive in a couple of weeks. Hopefully my Bravo Plus will still be kicking it for years to come.

A decent, good result giving machine, but not among the best
by intelfun ,Oct 31 '07
Pros: Not expensive, works fine, easy to figure out functions Cons: Steam comes through too fast, which lessens the coffee strength
I want especially to agree with one previous review where it was mentioned that this machine does not give you a chance to taste that special coffee froth which is very specific to top notch espresso machines. It just makes strong coffee. But I am fine with it (until I get a better one..)
