Pros: Lightweight, inexpensive, and allergen filtration. Cons: Needs one more stick attachment for easier reach.
Well you are reading the review of a very happy Hoover owner. This is my first actual purchase of a good vacuum cleaner. The previous one I owned was a Hoover Sprint. Which is great when you have a small apartment, but not when you buy a home.

Pros: Durable, High Power, Assembles/ disassembles easily, Low cost, cleans well
Cons: Dirt Finder Light is battery operated
As I think back I realize it was my fault fixing that very first TV/VCR combo on my own. Now my wife brings home every other piece of discarded junk and expects miracles.
This time it was the Hoover Breathe Easy Upright Vacuum...
Relax and breathe easier. This handy vacuum sucks up everything from heavy dirt to minute particles — while protecting your furniture beautifully. Its Soft Guard design helps shield furniture, walls and baseboards from bangs and dents, while its edge...
Pros: cheap, cleans the carpet well Cons: weak hose attachment
For only $50, you really can't go wrong with the Hoover Breathe Easy. It's powerful enough to clean my carpets but not overly heavy. So far, I haven't encountered a mess yet that my Breathe Easy couldn't clean (but winter hasn't come yet). However, the hose attachment is a little weak.
Bottomline: It cleans the floor well. What more is there to say?
Pros: lightweight, allergen filters Cons: inadequate suction and short hose
Although this vacuum is lightweight and has fairly good suction, its hose is built for a midget (and I'm pretty short). It vacuums the floors fine for the most part, but when using the attachments for the living room furniture and other fabric-covered items, it's clumsy and unmanageable. The hose is so short, that the vacuum is almost on top of whatever you're cleaning not making it very convenient. Also, the suction is mediocre leaving cat hair and kitty litter where my old Hoover Convertible Upright would have left nothing. Looking back, I wish I'd have gotten my 22 year old vacuum fixed instead of investing $80 for this one.
Pros: PRICE, efficient, attachments Cons: SUPER DUPER LOUD, attachment holder in the way
Super duper, bleeding ears loud. The pros are great, lots of attachments, easy to find bags, works pretty well. The cons are a total pain though. It is, honestly, the loudes vac I have ever used. My ears ring when I vac too long or in a small room/hallway. No kidding. The attachment holder is on the side, and it knocks into stuff, including my leg at first until I got used to it. The bags are super thin and always have holes in them before I have to toss them. The belt has gone on it over and over. They are cheap to replace, but if you buy this vac, get some extra belts while you are at it. Also, sometimes when I vac my hardwood floors, I notice it spits some dirt out behind it rather than sucking it up.
