Pros: Great small unit for tight spaces. Works really well with small loads. Cons: Don't expect miracles if you wash and dry lots of clothes. Not amazon model.
The family vacation house is much more comfortable with the Kenmore Stacked Washer and Dryer. My Mom inherited an older home from her Mom (my Grandma). Actually, the house was built by my PopPaw back in the 40s. This was back when the ...
Pros: Size, capacity, works great Cons: More expensive than separate washer/dryer sets
I just love my new Kenmore 27 inch Electric Laundry Center 98702! Why do I love it? Well, let's just say this is the first washer/dryer combination I've had, we've been using an old portable washing machine that we bought back in 1988 up until...
Pros: Compact, all electric, easy operation Cons: Does not accommodate the need for Extra Large Loads, cost
After buying my 1964 vintage home, I quickly realized that I would need a washer and dryer (since the prior owners took theirs with them). Since my wife and I didn't have much money, we bought a used Kenmore set. We soon found ourselves in a dilemma!...
Pros: Good capacity for a stackable, quiet, great for small spaces Cons: Timer problems (washer)
I bought my Kenmore Electric Laundry Center 98702 in June of 1999. I live in an apartment with a small utility room that will hold both a full-size washer and dryer, but nothing else. I bought the 98702 because it allowed me to use half the utility room...
Pros: Relatively quiet, decent (not huge) capacity, adequate washing, DURABLE Cons: Plain Jane, workhorse washer and dryer (although quite adequate), not fancy or flashy.
For the specs on this machine, please see Kittyokc's review. It's very thorough and describes the machine exactly. However, I did want to inform the readers of the excellent long-term durability of this machine in this world of throwaway appliances. ...
Pros: larger capacity drums, detergent dispensers, soft grip knobs and drum light. Cons: very loud during spin cycle, hard to reach the clothes on bottom of washer drum.
Back in 2004 my family and I moved into a new luxury apartment here in lovely ohio. One problem. They were all outfitted for laundry centers, not the standard set that we had recently purchased. The hunt was on! A few weeks went by and I found a used ...
Kenmore stinks - buy elsewhere by manage4u ,Aug 05 '06
Pros: None Cons: Read review
My unit lasted only one (1) year. Don't waste your money with KENMORE products.
After just one year the inside top of the tub RUSTED. Unknowingly, the rust dripped into the washer and ruined countless cloths.
I took the 3 year extended service contract but SEARS refused to do anything. I called service 4 times and they left saying they would get back to me but I never heard anything further. I've written to the Chairman several times and my complains go unanswered and unaddressed.
I am considering filing a law suit because of the false advertising and Sears failure to act under the extended service contact. Sear will not even refund the service contact.
Kenmore products use to be known for reliability and durability - not any more. Kenmore is disposable and too expensive for me.
Sears advertises and prints on their receipts "SATISFACTION GUARANTEED OR YOUR MONEY BACK" which they will not even address.
There are better product out there - I will never buy Sears or Kenmore again.
