Pros: cheapest service, minimal damage if you pack well, on time. Cons: only 1 hour loading in city, forgetting ramp, rub marks on unprotected items
i picked abf upack as i was tight on budget, and willing to load and unload all of my belongings myself. i also had some heavy furniture that would have made it expensive for a move price based off of weight. for a minimal 1 bedroom apartment, plus ...

Pros: Reliable, prompt, secure, economical. Cons: None
I used ABF Upack for my move from Detroit to Albuquerque just this month, August 2005. I found out about the service about four weeks ahead of my departure date and read others' reviews of the service here. Nearly all reviews were positive, so that ...

Pros: Cheaper than full service movers Cons: Dysfunctional bulkhead and poor handling led to total destruction
We moved from PA to WA for the military on short notice, and due to a neglectful military housing property office, were left to our own devices to move our 4-bedroom house across the country. We had read so many good reviews here on epinions that we ...

Pros: Price, helpful Cons: no rural delivery
We used ABF's U-pack service for moving from Ann Arbor, MI to southwest Virginia because their quote for 16 linear feet was the same price as renting a large U-haul plus gas - and we didn't have to drive it through mountains! The trailer was ...

Pros: Save $$$$
Cons: Labor-intensive, but worth the savings.
We recently moved from Connecticut to New Mexico and after reading the reviews on this site and getting a very reasonable quote from U-pack decided to use their service. We lived close to the terminal so decided to use the terminal-to-terminal service ...

Pros: cheap Cons: unreliable, flaky, late, unresponsive, bad communication, misrepresentation
I thought Upack would be great for our move- it was less expensive than a lot of places. But they totally ruined our move. They delivered our units late. I had to wait FOUR hours just to get the second half of our units, with the movers waiting the ...

Pros: Price, customer service, professionalism, flexibility, convenience, great follow-up, did I mention price? Cons: Some minor delays during pick-up and drop-off, mainly due to the nature of "U-Pack" service.
U-Pack was exactly what I was looking for. Being a skeptical consumer, I was suspicious at every step of the process, but was happily surprised each time how easy it was and how good and professional the customer service was. I loved being able to pack ...

Pros: The price, the flexibility, the security, and the dependability were the best. Cons: Only if you need access. Unload to a traditional storage unit; cost still less.
Two relo cubes were a fit in one standard parking space in my apartment complex. The driver thoughtfully placed them back to back with the double doors opening at the "head" of the parking space and the other cube opened at the "back" of the space. ...

Pros: Very friendly, true to their word, on time, excellent communication. Cons: You should know how to pack a van or have someone that knows the basics.
I moved from upstate New York to Seattle and was really worried about cost. I did a lot of research on pod storage, professional movers and diy moves. I chose UPack because of the reviews here and elsewhere. The people on the phone were SO nice and ...

Pros: You really have to want to save money to go with ABF.
Cons: Marginal trailers. Bulkheads cannot be fastened properly and damage goods. You take all the risk.
You really have to want to move yourself and save money to use this commercial freight company. Packed two 28 foot trailer "pups" from March 1 - March 6,07. Purchased 200$ in various size boxes that were delivered by UPS two days before the trailers. ...

Pros: Cheaper and more convenient than renting a truck. Cons: Perfect packing required.
Recommended only if a) you're shipping well-packed boxes and nothing else, or b) you really know what you're doing. Previous to Upack we'd relocated six different times with Uhaul. I thought that would be enough experience to properly pack a ...

Pros: Great service, excellent prices, friendly employees Cons: Not one!
We shopped around for the best deal to move across county. We checked full-service movers, (WAY TO EXPENSIVE), u-haul and a variety of others. The best deal was ABF. We called ABF a couple weeks in advance. We reserved a whole truck, paid $75 for ...

Pros: Excellent service, quick delivery, low cost Cons: When they drop the cubes, they don't bring ice-cream too. How can you do that?
I moved from San Jose, CA to Boulder, CO last month. I did some research online and realized that the ReloCubes option of ABF would work for me. I picked them over PODS mainly because of the price, even though I was a bit concerned because the price ...

I just want to warn everyone about ABF U-Pack. I recently used them in July for a move from NY to GA. I did my research on various moving companies by visiting various websites and ABF seemed like a reputable company. They delivered in NY on time but ...

Pros: Low cost, no driving responsibility, easy tracking Cons: Difficult to do alone, must have sufficient help, must have spare time
I recently moved from Buffalo, NY to Wilmington, NC and I wanted to spend as little money as possible on the moving truck. I found ABF in the Change of address package from the post office. It sounded like an interesting deal, so I got a price quote ...
