Pros: less expensive moving, safer than a rental truck and towing a car yourself Cons: None that we found! It was terrific start to finish!
Our daughter recently moved from PA to San Diego and she also had to get her car out too. She was ready to just give all of her stuff away or sell it but really couldn't afford to do that. A colleague refered us to ABF and what a find! This was such a ...

Pros: Easy, responsive, good to work with, very professional Cons: you need to be sure your stuff is packed and secured properly
I used these guys to move from Houston Texas to Athens Ohio. I would do it again - with one major exception. I would have been MUCH more careful in who I hired to help me load the truck. The ABF people were very professional. They showed up on time ...

Pros: best price around by far; good customer service; trustworthy; they drive! Cons: trailer drop-off and delivery times are done in 4-hour windows (e.g. 4-8pm)
When moving from Pennsylvania to Seattle, we were choosing between Penske, ABF, and a full-service moving company. After reading the reviews online, we decided to go with a trailer from ABF. I'm glad we did! For one, ABF was cheaper than Penske, which ...

Pros: outstanding customer service from all involved Cons: none, if you have the time to pack yourself and are organized
With the luxury of time to do a lot of the preparation ourselves, we looked into several providers of this kind of 'you pack/we drive' service. Based on good reviews here, a very helpful website, and cooperative customer service reps, we chose ABF ...

Pros: Price, delivery, ease of pickup, shipping and dropoff. Cons: None except the bulkheads are heavy. Best to have 2 people.
I had ABF U-Pack send me quotes like so many others did and found that they "buy by the space" price was the best $1,999 for 12 feet of space on a 28 foot truck. $89 a foot for anything extra, and $495 for storage if needed. They dropped it off on a ...
