Pros: adjusts so it can fit in any pot, blends, chops, puree's, whips Cons: stains the white plastic
I am a kitchen gadget junkie and have so many of them I either do not use them very often or not at all. I had been looking at stick blenders for a while. So when my husband bought me one for Christmas last year I was thrilled. The Cuisinart ...
Pros: easy to use, multiple uses, easy clean up Cons: none
I bought this smart stick for my husband as a birthday gift. He was always complaining that he could not make mixed drinks the way he wanted with my blender. Since I am not really a drinker I thought this was a good way to go. He could make his drink...
Pros: really easy for everyone in the family to use Cons: keep your old blender for heavy-duty use
Cuisinart’s SmartStick Extendable Shaft Hand Blender & Chopper Grinder is made with a powerful 4-speed motor and a heavy-duty blade - plus a unique shaft that extends an extra 2 inches, easily reaching the bottom of tall pots of steaming soup and...
Pros: I wouldn't know Cons: Dangerous spinning blade, hard to control.

Pros: It works great! It is easy to clean! Cons: I find it heavy and also hard to hold onto. Blade removal is difficult
I got this Smartstick as a replacement. I find this machine more powerful. So far, it is able to do everything I would want it to do. I prefer this machine to a blender or a food processor. I find this model heavier than other models and also is bigger around, making it hard to hold on to if you have small hands. The blade for the chopper is hard to remove or change without cutting yourself. Yes, they have notches to hold onto to remove the blade but it is easy for your fingers to slip off. I've had 2 bad cuts.
