Blue's clues is one of the best children's shows on the air. Each episode combines learning with fun songs that make the kids watching feel smart. Blue (the dog) leaves her paw prints on various clues throughout the show that finally lead to the...

Pros: Intellectually stimulating Cons: None that I can think of
There are lots of kids' shows out there, but I don't think any of them compare to Blue's Clues. This is a wonderfully simply animated show with Steve (the host) being the only human on it. He interacts with lots of loveable characters like Mr. Salt, Mrs....

Pros: Colorful, good toddler paced Cons: None
That's what you hear from my daughter when Blue is on! My three year old, Amanda, loves Blue and all her friends. (Yes, Blue is a girl puppy.) My daughter watches closely to see if she can spot all three clues. She sings along with all the songs and...

Pros: Innovative and fresh children's show! Cons: absolutely none.
This excellent show beats Sesame Street and other more dated children's educational fare hands down....Blue's Clues teaches the same concepts and does a better job of it.
Host "Steve" is comfortably familiar when he opens the front...

Pros: educational Cons: can be annoying for parent
Being a single mom to a 2 year old is hard work, and when you find something that utterly fascinates your child, you had better hold on fast and tight.
Blues Clues is one show that I can be almost guaranteed to have some time to do other things...

Sitting in my thinking chair and trying to figure out what other show is this cute? I can't come up with one. My son has loved this show and the videos made from the shows for a couple of years (or so it seems).

Pros: Positive encouragement. Steve. Wholesome Learning Environment. The Constant Praise to your little one. Cons: Could say "mean green puppy", but we all have to forgive, and forget..And the block tower can be rebuilt. :O)
"Mom I’m gonna marry Steve, and blue can live with me".....I hear this from my 3 year old EVERY DAY!!! Now granted I could do worse for a son-in-law, but I'm not sure I could live with Steve's wardrobe on a daily basis. :O) The best part of...

Finally, a kids program that won't drive parents nuts! Our two children, aged 6 and 4, love this show. They enjoy interacting with Steve and Blue, often responding correctly to Steve's questions. Unlike Barney, there is no exaggerated acting or...

Pros: Wonderful characters help children's imagine and learn! Cons: Need to put out new episodes so children can solve new puzzles.
You won't find me saying that I like too many television shows, but I am in love with Blue's Clues! My children, age 4 and 2, will sit on the couch and play along with it. It's about a man named Steve, and his dog, Blue. Every day, there's a different...
