Pros: Spacious, comfortable rooms, excellent meeting facilities Cons: Mediocre service, HIGH prices, now charging for parking too...
A week or so ago, I was in Dallas for business, and the company put me up for a couple days in the Wyndham Anatole, which is a very large, business oriented hotel in the Market Center area, just outside downtown.
Pros: Very large hotel, easily accommodates convention groups, convenient location Cons: Lots of walking from rooms to meeting center
The Wyndham Anatole has just about everything... including a section of the Berlin Wall! This huge, luxurious hotel sprawls over several acres of land and boasts its own park. It is Texas, after all!
Pros: Expansive rooms, great food Cons: Cheap food is hard to find
The Wyndham Anatole really is the premiere convention hotel of the southwest. This summer I spent a week there for a convention, so I came to know the hotel quite well. The rooms are exceptionally large and well furnished. Mine included a minibar, a desk...
Pros: Elegant and all-inclusive for any stay. Cons: A little pricey for families.
I was fortunate enough to attend a convention recently at this hotel. The complex contained absolutely everything one could possibly need for an enjoyable stay, whether for business or pleasure.
Pros: Massive Hotel: Great for Groups, Tasteful Rooms, Helpful Staff, Spectacular Downtown Views Cons: Tends To Be Pricey, Massive Hotel: Hard To Navigate, Not a "Cozy" Choice
The Wyndham Anatole is Dallas-based Wyndham's flagship and one of the biggest hotels in the Southwest. Built for the Republican Convention in 1981 the rooms have recently undergone a very nice (and badly needed in my opinion) refurbishment.
