It's a great magazine for science fanatics! There's a whole bunch of information in it although it's a pretty small magazine. It was one of the very (and i mean VERY) small amount of magazines i subscribed to and i would have continued to have subscribed...

Cons: Headlines and first paragraph will sometimes stretch for a joke.

I have a good science background, but am not a scientist. I have gotten Science News for years, and am very happy with it. It touches on a large variety of subjects, some of which I am not too concerned with, but I almost always read all the articles, testifying to the clear writing and basic comprehensible reporting. There are always names and organizations to research if more information is wanted. The articles are primarily timely; if you notice a commercial news story based on the same source as an article, the Science News will have published the article either before or within the same time frame.
