Pros: almost everything Cons: some disappointing tracks
Heavy Petting Zoo in my eyes is one of NOFXs best albums to date. You can just listen to it over and over again because its really user-friendly. Although this album is really more poppy than their usual affairs, it does earn big...

Pros: Some great, fast, pounding NOFX songs on here Cons: There's also some junk; mildy-offensive cover art and a few photos in the CD booklet that border on soft porn
This album has some great tunes on it, as well as some crud. But, that's pretty much the story of any NOFX album, so far as I can tell. Heavy Petting Zoo contains the typical NOFX stuff -- fast, punk songs with a slowish one tossed in from time to...

Pros: A lot of variety, one of NOFX's best albums, they slightly change their style to make the music more interesting, while maintaining their old sound Cons: none
Starting with their album "Ribbed" in 1989 and lasting until "Punk in Drublic" in 1994, NOFX had a formulaic method of writing songs. They started with Erik Sandin's incredibly fast drumming, played some fairly interesting guitar...

Pros: The lyrics are all gems, and equally portray the downside of the Land of the Free. The music is unbelieveable, and it meshes almost perfectly. Cons: Can't think of any.
Most of NOFX's albums have wonderfully funny lyrics, but might as well have one riff for all the difference in the melodies. This is not the case with "Heavy Petting Zoo." This is the closest NOFX has come to making a truly classic punk...

Pros: ummmm..... possibly the feel good factor of a few of there songs, but thats at a push! and good drumming- prehaps Cons: Crappey lyrics and boring songs all round
what can i say? it is a nofx album which isnt much different to any other nofx albums. Most nofx fans would say that this was the transitional album fo the band and as far as the musical content goes for me it is just as cheesey as the rest. This band...

Pros: Some of the songs are funny and might relate to your life Cons: Some offensive lyrics and offensive booklet
A great CD which has good as well as funny lyrics. There is a strange booklet that it comes with that has a naked woman and some other possibly offensive pictures. It has offensive some offensive lyrics like the ones in "Hobophobic" where...
