Pros: The end of the album almost redeems the mediocrity of the beginning and middle. Cons: Tired rhymes, tired production, tired themes...
You've gotta be special if you haven't made a better-than-average record in ten years and you still have me on line in a record store on a Tuesday afternoon purchasing your latest CD. So the story goes with me and LL Cool J. For those of us who were ...
Pros: Some fun songs and nice guests Cons: Same old stuff that we've seen in the past from L
He once said: LL Cool J is hard as hell Battle anybody I don't care who you tell I excel, they all fail I'm gonna crack shells Double-L must rock the bells He's no longer that man. He's a changed man. He's not just an MC anymore. Or even ...
Pros: Some nice beats Cons: LL's eroded skills and standard subject matter; overabundant and unspectacular guest performances; lazy and exploitative
How the mighty have fallen. It is a complete turnaround. Back in the Rap Golden Age as I have recently liked to call it, LL Cool J was a trailblazer. He was the first true solo superstar of rap music, releasing platinum albums at a time when going ...
Pros: Women will love his music… Cons: …because they don’t care that its crap as long as he performs it shirtless.
Ladies Love Cool James. Everyone else is sick of his sh*t. Guys who have attended an LL Cool J concert in the last few years or so know what Im talking about. You buy your ticket and hit the front row waiting to see Uncle L rush the mic ...
Pros: Varied production, LL's been in the game for over 20 years Cons: Too many to name
When I was around 16-17 years old, my biggest problems were filling out college applications and adjusting to an increasing workload in high school. I had no clue what I wanted to do with my future - how many of us back then did? All I worried about was ...
Pros: A handful of tracks. Cons: It's possible that this is LL's worst record yet.
LL Cool J was supposed to stop at album 10. However, he made "The DEFinition" which I believe didn't sell too well due to the ludacris headbanger "Headsprung" and the blissful "Hush". Now LL is back with "Todd Smith". "Todd Smith" is 13 songs, ...
Pros: I'm gonna favor him since he's bring positive lyrics and dosen't cuss (anymore)! Cons: Too much RnB influences and guest appearances!
IT'S LL AND SANTANA - This high energy joint brings the old with the new. LL's presence on the track is dripping with swagga. Just classic aggresive LL. Juelz Santana is on the higher end of 2day's commercial rappers. So this bridges the younger and ...
very wack & following the 90's rapper cliche by danzoolo ,Apr 18 '07
Pros: ok production at times Cons: everything else is wack
ll cool j has been going in a downward path for more than a decade now & is following the 90's rapper cliche that your great days are long behind you. this album is very wack and there isn't even one song that has true fire or anything, at least definition had the FIRE headsprung. control myself is a wack single and the rest of the album follows that song, ok production but wack rhymes & things & lame and tired guests. this album sucks.
