Pros: Very entertaining, well done Bond movie. Cons: None for me.
The James Bond movie series was still going strong in 1977, even after the part of James had been recast twice. Roger Moore, the third man to play Bond, was back for his third turn as the suave spy in The Spy Who Loved Me, one of the ...

Pros: good story, nice balance between humor and action, good acting, Jaws Cons: Bach not always convincing
With Bond and the series of 007 films midway through the 1970’s, some things changed and some things remained the same. The tenth film in the franchise, The Spy Who Loved Me was probably the best of the Bond films with Roger Moore as ...

Pros: Jaws; Barbara Bach; Atlantis; the white Lotus Esprit; soundtrack; Moore finally settling in as Bond Cons: No Connery; partly recycled plot
The tenth film in the Bond series, The Spy Who Loved Me, is possibly the best of the ones starring Roger Moore and only a notch below the best of the early ones with Sean Connery. Lewis Gilbert, who had previously directed ...

Pros: Careful direction. Exotic locations. Groovy stunts. Cons: Roger Moore was just never very good.
Well, the campaign is over. As you have no doubt heard I was not elected governor of California by popular acclaim as I deserved, rather that overblown action star, without half my flair or fashion sense seized the prize. I am, however, always gracious, ...

Pros: Jaws, Girls, Song, Score, action, sets, car Cons: Jurgens, Moore, occasional disco music
When British, American, and Russian subs start disappearing, British and Russian Secret Service send in 007 James Bond and Agent XXX Anya Amasova (the bodacious Barbara Bach) to tackle the nefarious criminal mastermind Stromberg. This guy’s a loon, with ...

Pros: The opening teaser, Atlantis, unique Bond film. Cons: This is a perfect Bond film, great if you like Bond.
In this, the tenth James Bond film, one would think ideas would be wearing thin, but that's not really the case. Right from the opening teaser through to the final shots things remain fresh and unique. Well, not completely unique since James Bond is...

Pros: Roger Moore as Bond; light-hearted but still 'dangerous'. Jaws. Cons: Not enough thinking involved. A bit cheesy.
Being a huge 007 film fan, I can honestly say that The Spy Who Loved Me is my second, possibly third (it's an ongoing battle between it and Goldeneye) favorite James Bond outing, though for different reasons than I enjoy my choice of first and...

Pros: Exciting entry in the Bond saga...Barbara Bach...spectacular stunts Cons: Some implausible plot twists, but that's no different from any Bond movie...rather predictable, but fun nonetheless
As a long-standing Bond fan (I started to go to the movies in the mid-'70's...this was the first Bond film I saw on the big screen), I have to admit, I have my favorites and ones I can leave by the wayside. I will always have a soft spot in my heart for...

Pros: As effective as a sleeping pill Cons: As effective as a sleeping pill
I was standing out in the middle of the street, a couple blocks away from my college dorm walking. I stopped to think why I was there, but I could not remember why until I got back into my room.
You see, I was watching "007: The Spy Who...

Pros: Great action flick Cons: No real major flaws.
This by far exceeds Roger Moore's Bond series. He is in top form, and besting the best of villains in this Bond movie with Russian spies and a bomb that could destroy the world.
Check out the villains in this one, the guys teeth are Bond's worst...

Pros: Barbara Bach Cons: Beware of making Roger Moore into a Sean Connery wannabe
And Barbara Bach isn't half bad either. Implausible costuming aside (the woman looks glued into her evening gowns in certain strategic places), she is absolutely luscious-looking in every setting from London to Egypt's Giza pyramid complex.
