A nearly perfect Scottish Play

Pros: A riveting performance.
Cons: The virtually bare stage may put off those who expect something more spectacular.
Judi Dench may have played more British queens on film than any other actress, living or dead: Elizabeth I ("Shakespeare in Love"), Victoria ("Mrs. Brown"), and Lady MacBeth. That she plays them to perfection should be no surprise, even to James Bond...
