Pros: Teenagers will like it Cons: Contrived; Predictable; Annoying
Directed by Sara Sugarman and starring actress Lindsay Lohan, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen is a lame teenage comedy about growing up as a teenage girl and making adjustments to a new school and a new way of life. This film revolves around ...
Pros: None. Really. There were NO positive aspects to this film. Cons: acting, writing, filming, characters, story, humor, message, that its on DVD.
Growing up in New York City has let Mary Elizabeth know the finer things of life, and immersed her in a lot of culture. Unfortunately being in this town has caused her to think very highly of herself, and she has grown accustomed to being the center ...
On a sunny Saturday afternoon I escorted my two daughters, 9 & 13, to the matinée showing of Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. We were joined by a couple friends (a mom and her 9-year-old daughter). Probed by the trailers and having ...
Pros: I didn't waste money on the film. Cons: Characters, plot, pacing...everything
Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen was one of those movies I intended to see in the theater but never got a chance to see. When it hit TV a few months back, I recorded and watched it. I'm glad I got to see it for free because all I ...
Pros: none come to my mind Cons: the special effects almost caused me to gauge my eyes out
I admit it. I love Disney movies. I like to watch the Disney channel. I loved Lindsay Lohan in the Parent Trap although her fake British accent could get a bit annoying and I liked her in Freaky Friday, mostly because I used to read the book over and ...
Pros: A fun plot and a good supporting cast of character actors. Cons: Lohan's performance is a bit over the top, even for a drama queen.
If there is one bravery left for film-makers it is the simple act of going against the grain; not so much doing what no one else is doing, but instead, NOT doing what everyone else IS doing. The trend of late for children's and teen' movies is level ...
Pros: Lindsay Lohan, cute idea for a movie Cons: Limp as a cooked noodle plot and story line, so-so acting
I have 5 children, and I have accompanied them to a great variety of movie, some were so-so like Blue Crush, others were surprisingly ok, like 10 Things I Hate About You. Never before have I left the theatre and actually felt mad about the movie I had ...
Pros: Funny. Great characters. Can't guess the plot. Good for tween and teen girls. Cons: Might not appeal to older teens.
My thirteen-year-old daughter and I have been looking forward to this movie. We have liked Lindsay Lohan in all of her roles, starting with the hilarious Disney-TV "Life Size" from several years ago. Lindsay's "drama queen" character Lola reminds me ...
Pros: I used my almost expired movie passes Cons: Shotty acting, dumb fantasizing, and secretive.
So two days ago, I'm arguing with my sister to go to the movies with me and see this new Lindsey Lohan movie that was being shown. She refused to go so it was just me and my cousin. The beginning of the movie was OK, it tells how "Lola" wants to be an ...
I love Lindsay Lohan - I didn't love this movie by nibor ,Aug 21 '04
Pros: 90 minutes Cons: No bonuses worth watching on the DVD.
I just decided to take Blockbuster.com for a test drive and figured this was the perfect time to order some movies that I wasn't really sure if I wanted to pay for to watch.
The trailers for this movie made it look a little childish but I fell in love with Lindsay Lohan in Freaky Friday and I really wanted to see her act again.
I think Lindsay did a great job in the movie but it really didn't help make the movie much easier to watch. Actually, I thought all of the teens in this movie did very well, but they were asked to be so corny that I'm sure in the future this will be one of the films they won't be so proud of. Lola's best friend Ella is played by Allison Pill and her rival in high school, Carla Santani, is played by Megan Fox.
The movie is slightly funny
It does not impart any good moral values for kids.
I'm a little disappointed with Disney for this one.

Pros: EVERYTHING Cons: NONE.
Confessions of a teenage drama queen was created in 2004 is an american comedy. Starring Lindsay Lohan playing a 15 year old attention seaking teenager who drags other into her devised plan to see the band of her dreams and to tell many lies and deciete friends in the process. This film is very comedic and is along the same lines as 'Parent Trap' however with some more catchy songs. This also stars Megan Fox who plays the bully and is gobsmacked when Lohan turns out to be the person that she is seen assosiating with. This film is perfect for young teenagers who love happy music and dancing around the room singing. You will definately singing the songs in the film for hours yet to come...
Pros: Adorable comedy with a nice message. Cons: Drunken rock star...maybe not great for little girls?
Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen is an adorable story of a girl who is forced to leave NYC and move to the suburbs of New Jersey, kissing goodbye "any chance of becoming a famous star." At her new school, she clashes with Ms. Popularity (which is sort of annoying since they play that stupid "Uh-ooh" song every time they exchange words), so she befriends the preppy dorky girl and discovers that they are both madly in love (read: OBSESSED)with the same rock band. When they hear that this particular rock band is breaking up, they decide that they MUST get to NYC to be there for their farewell concert. Sounds fun, right? Well, since this IS a comedy, you can expect many interesting obstacles along the way!
I took my 11-year-old sister and her friend to this movie and we all had a good time. That's exactly what this movie is: a good time. It's Disney, what do you expect?
Don't waste your time... or money!!! by pascalgirlie ,Mar 29 '04
Pros: Lindsay Lohan's end musical theatre act is very cute. Cons: Plot, cheesyness, feels like hours
Cute as a button previews, with Lindsay Lohan as a great role model for children. Seeing the movie was the complete opposite. The movie had many things that children shouldn't see, and very vain girls. It was a huge exaggeration of what high school is like... think Kate and Lizze in Lizzie McGuire and enhance that by 100 times. I was very disapointed. The movie was only an hour and 30 minutes, yet it felt much longer. It was extremely boring, and I really wish I wouldn't have paid to see it. If you or your children feel they must see it, make sure you catch a matinee, very cheap one, or wait till you can rent it. Besides, if you rent it you dont have to watch the whole thing. The best part was the singing that Lindsay Lohan does. Although I think she is much more talented then the other teen actresses, this movie was too cheesy.

Pros: The movie was interesting to see her fashion. Cons: The movie was occasionally a little more than ridiculous, but that's being a teenager.
This movie was about a girl moving from a big city to a very small city. She has dreams of becoming an actress that sings, too. She learns valuable lessons about who your real friends are. And in the end she does become a star. It was a fun movie. The music was really great. It fit perfectly with the movie. Alexis, the new music artist, sung one of the songs on the movie called the "Real Me". Pros: Lindsay Lohen, The Extreme Drama Cons: Kinda of confusing at times, Some things are so-oo dramatic it is kinda annoying
"Confessions Of A Teenage Drama Queen" was a movie about a girl, Lola or Mary, who lived in New York City till she turned 15. Then, they moved to "Deadwood", a small town far away from her beloved New York. Later, Lola finds later that it's where you live, it's who you live with!
