Pros: compact size, GREAT sound quality, holds up to 1,000 sounds... Cons: ear buds are HORRIBLE, expensive
I have to admit, I'm a slave to Apple products. Next year when finances improve [after our wedding is done and paid for ;)], my fiancee and I plan on purchasing a powerbook. When I first learned of Apple's release of the iPod mini ...
Pros: Beautiful sound quality and design, very easy to use. Cons: Designed by someone who doesn't know what pink looks like.
What? It's Not Pink? Yes, unfortunately, you did hear me right. It shocked me too. Apple, the company who's computer products are made specifically for graphic artists. Mac OS X includes OS-level color management (something Windows only dreams ...
Honestly? I had given myself the option of buying either an iPOd or a car. I picked the iPod. Initially I was set on getting a 20GB original iPod. I didn't need 60 gigs and I didn't want a shuffle, which to me, seemed useless for the most part. ...
Pros: Easy to use, great sound, crowd pleaser when all is well. Cons: Rigid, uncaring customer service, battery problems, data recovery nightmares.
Bought an ipod mini in November due to anticipated Christmas rush for Dec. 25th gift. Made first call to them under their "one complimentary call per user" policy. Was told that even though it's probable that it was a Christmas gift, purchase day (vs. ...
Pros: Tiny - its roughly the size of a deck of cards. Cons: None. No matter what MP3 player you get, ripping your CD's takes some time.
My wife & I are now in our 40's, and we no longer regularly listen to our CD collection much. But when we go on vacation, we'll pack a CD player with speakers and 10-20 disks. Unfortunately, its gotten to be a hassle due to TSA rules of no electronics ...
Pros: Small, easy to use product and software, very helpful website and customer service Cons: addicting, I can't stop
I wanted an iPod since they were first released. The big Pod costs way too much for me, and typically I wouldn't spend too much on an MP3 player anyway...but, I digress. My mom got one as a gift, and in turn, my sister took it from her to use on a trip ...
Pros: *Cute! Trendy!
*Holds lots of music in a small space.
Cons: *Set up was a royal pain.
*The earbuds are definitely not for me.
So, around Christmas-time I fall under the spell of the commercials again. Last Christmas I started telling my husband "Look at those ipods. I think I want one." Then this Christmas, it starts up again. Now I really, really want one. But seeing as ...
Pros: Small, Sleek, Easy To Use, Adaptivity Cons: Control Wheel may be difficult for some to use, no tag editor in iTunes.
I recently was helping my brother install a CD Player for his car when he told me he was selling his iPod that he bought from Best Buy back in Jan '05. I asked him if he'd sell it to me. He said yes. Only gripe, it's pink. I love the iPod. ...
Pros: Wonderful sound, easy to use. Cons: I haven't found any yet.
But I ended up getting a mini iPod when I wasn't expecting it! I thought I'd get an MP3 player for my husband for Valentine's Day, but since he's the technical one in the family, I thought I'd ask some innocent questions about them to see if I could ...
Pros: its light, holds lots of songs, portable, and fits well in your pocket, purse, etc. Cons: doesn't work well, doesn't have color screen like ipod video, eventually battery dies out quick.
My friend and I both have the ipod mini. For a while we were both pretty content with it and liked the color and look of it. After a while the ipod's began to develop some hardware problems. Since then I haven't used mine because the screen would freeze ...
Pros: keeps kids occupied and quiet on long car trips. Cons: none
I purchased the 4gb ipod mini for my 9 year old daughter for her birthday in March 05'. I was concerned of how well she would take care of it and be able to work it. She now loves it and so do I. It is so simple to use, even a child can download music ...
Run far away from this product! by angelcake ,Dec 01 '06
Pros: Its pretty and for the first month worked well. Cons: Aside from the battery problems, a pain in the neck to deal with.
I bought this two years ago and now its nothing more than a pretty coaster. Apparently the mini's have had a huge number of battery life problems and that's the real reason that Apple stopped making them and introduced the Nano instead.
After 6 months my ipod wouldn't hold a battery charge for more than an hour and after speaking with Apple they charged me $30 dollars to replace it. Fine I figured that now it should work. It still had the same problem. They charged me $30 more just for an exact replica of the broken one I sent them with a slightly less battery problem. Not a new one. Not an 'I'm sorry there really is a problem with this product, we'll refund your money and give you our updated product.' Just sent back the same generation piece of junk.
I'll never buy another Apple device in this lifetime. I decided to just go with an mp3 player that takes normal batteries that I can replace on my own.
its good but probably lasts a couple years by gutanclock ,Feb 06 '07
Pros: decent amount of songs, good size, great sound. Cons: battery life is horrible after 2 years.
i got this for my birthday a couple of years ago. i really liked it. it had great sound and held a decent amount of songs. the one complaint i have for this product is the battery life. when i first got it, the battery lasted for a long time. but after a year i would have to charge it once a week. then going back a few months ago, i have to charge it once a day. when it is not on its charger, the letters on the screen are very faint and sometimes freezes. one thing that never changed about this product is the sound quality. the sound is really great. i would recomend this product for people who have never owned an ipod before. i also really liked the size of it; it was not too big and not too small. another complaint, my friend had her ipod mini and then got a hardware issue which cannot be fixed. the bottom line is, after two years you may experience problems with this product.
Pros: sleek design, small size, easy to navigate, easy to use Cons: Have to buy many accesories to really enjoy it
I have the Mini Ipod in Pink and all I can say is that I love it and I got to say this is a luxury item because it is not cheap. Plus you have to buy add-ons to really enjoy this but i think its worth the money.
Pros: Everything! It's slim , fashionable , light and so easy to use! Cons: Nothing! It's perfect!
I had been wanting the iPod mini since it was released over here in the UK. I knew the colour I wanted. Pink! Then a few days ago I ordered it and it came yesterday. I have fallen in love with it and can't believe how easy it is to use and I have put 5 songs on it so far. They are so easy to put on to the iPod. I would defintely recommend you get the iPod mini.
