I bought the Belkin F5D7231-4 Wireless Router today, 7/30/05, at Best Buy for $59.95. It is spectacular!

Easy to install, excellent performance, and nice range.

The packaging on the box calls it a Wireless G+ Router. Indicates is has 700 ft. range (tested outdoors by Belkin per statement on the box). It also has a lifetime warranty.

This is a terrific product at a reasonable cost!

Pros: Cheap is not inexpensive.
Cons: Junk, print server does not work with many different printers.

Bought this beacause price was very nice and had the built in print server with it. After installing it and not being able to print I called support, only waited 12 minutes and after talking to a lie person I was told that my printer is not compatible with (Photosmart 7960). So this is going back to the store.

It took too much effort to configure the router to detect a internet connection. After doing so, speed test rated my download speed at 384kb and upload at 110kb. This is using the useless capability. Considering my internet is rated at 8MB down and 384kb up consitantly by plugging the rj45 directly into my computer, this is junk. Redownloading the film ware did not help, and adjusting setting does not work. I'm not expert but I have my fair share experience with routers,

I found the Belkin trivially easy to set up, just using the web browser-based interface. LAN and WAN work perfectly both for Windows and MacOS machines.
The one caveat: for the first week or so the router hung up at least once a day. Couldn't even access its browser interface page; had to kill power and reboot to get it going. I finally put the Belkin on a couple half-inch high "feet" to improve airflow, and since that time have not had a single crash.
So, overall a solid performer. I still miss my USRobotics router, and heartily recommend that unit as well, but the Belkin is a decent choice.
