by drglush ,Mar 13 '05
Pros: Quiet excellent dishwasher-energy and water efficient with ease of operation and removable racks Cons: Expensive and one must read the manual thoroughly
The Bosch SHY66C05 is phenomenal dishwasher with an amazing array of features. The dimensions are 23 9/16inches wide,22 9/16inches depth,35 inches tall.It has upper and lower racks and silverware baskets. The racks are easy to remove so that tall vases can be washed. The top rack has a 10 inch clearance while the lower rack has a 12inch clearance. There are 6 electronic wash cycles including cycles to minimize water usage. It is very energy efficient. The dishwasher is easy to operate with push button controls and a LED display light which tells you when you can unload your dishwasher.Dishes and glasses come out sparkling. The premium dispenser allows one to easily insert the correct amount of detergent with the door partially open. This Bosch has a delayed start feature enabling one to wash dishes late at night saving electricity. It is so quiet that you do not know it is in operation. The drawbacks are the price and the fact that the user must read the manual to take advantage of all of the features.
