Cons: WINDOWS XP is not as good as Windows Pro

I recently purchase my first DELL computer. I am using it now in fact. I LOVE it. I would have preferred Windows Professional instead of XP but overall the computer is great. I can view AND create videos. I can connect my web cam. The fax services are great. I can burn and play CD's. There is no limit as to what can be done. I paid a great price for it. Only $842 after my rebate and I even received the rebate within 30 days of sending off for it.

Pros: Good quality and good abilities for what you pay for it.
Cons: Its not good for much except clerical work.

This is a low end model for Dell. This unit is designed to be a cheap work horse computer for begginers. This is the best computer for workers who write papers and do clerical work. It is the worst for people who want to do cool stuff. It has an intergrated sound and video card so video games are out. It comes with a Celeron processor but can be upgraded to a pentium if you want a computer that is not so slow. I don't advise upgrading the RAM too much because with the front side bus and processor limitations you will not get the best functionality out of it.
