Pros: Masculine scent which seems to appeal to a quite a few women-folk. Cons: A bit expensive; reeks if too much is used.
I haven't given a damn about cologne in years. Why? I'm married and have two small children, so I generally reek of black coffee, frustration and whatever food my sticky, two-year-old daughter has smeared on my clothes while giving me a hug. Indeed, the...
Pros: Strong, sexual scent - cost is reasonable Cons: People either love it or hate it...
There comes a time in the life of all relationships when you begin to take your liberty with certain aspects of sharing likes and dislikes. You talk about food and movies and a hundred other things, and maybe you smell each other in the course of dating,...
Pros: Fourteen years later it still generates the same emotions. Cons: None, if you are wearing it.
In the winter of 1989, I met a very beautiful young lady through a mutual friend while visiting him at his home in Southern California. It was not much of a first meeting, simply hellos at a small party, but it was a memorable too me. I managed to bu ...
Pros: A good smelling cologne, parfum, what have you. Cons: None
Well, if you get close enough to me, it might be Drakkar-Drakkar Noir! While I have tried other colognes, such as Gravity and Old Spice, Drakkar Noir is the most pleasant smelling of them all. It's hard to put a placement on a scent of a cologne, and...
Pros: Great for those who can't tolerate overbearing fragrances. Cons: Can't think of any (I'd bathe in it if I could.)
My mom was an Avon Lady. I spent my youth in the back seat of her Plymouth station wagon next to boxes and boxes full of colognes, soaps, body creams, hand lotions, and anything else that had a heavy, perfumey smell. So, I was immersed in fragrance for...
My ex would not wear anything else. Drakkar is a musky kind of smell, dripping with Berries and promises of the night. The company describes it as a Lavender based scent, which makes sense to me as I adore Lavender and obviously so does my ex partner....
Pros: None Cons: It stinks and will never come off your clothes
Hey guys,, if you ever want to see the chick you met at the bar EVER again,, DON'T SPRAY THIS ON HER! I met this one dude at the bar one night and I noticed his fragrance was a bit on the overdone side. I asked what the scent was he was wearing and the ...
Pros: great smell, "comes back", very sexual for women, covers anything, not too costly... Cons: ...but costly enough to make it a treat!
My girlfriend loves Drakkar... no, not the knock off, the real stuff. All right, I am kind of cheap. I used to buy the fake Drakkar and wear it. My g/f wasn't a terribly big fan and often complained that I wore too much. So, I stopped.
I bought Drakkar noir for my brother as a birthday gift. Although he loves it the rest of us around him think it is horrible and I am so sorry I bought it. He smells terrible, the awfull smell is so strong that it lingers within the room after he leaves....
Made my unattractive boss seem sexy! by cpvon2004 ,Apr 19 '04
Pros: Makes men seem more sexy, very appealing scent Cons: Can be a little strong if too much is worn.
The first time I smelled Drakkar, it was on my boss as he brushed past me in the office. Not a particularly attractive man, at least not to me, I was amused that he immediately got my attention by the scent he was wearing. I had never smelled it or heard of it at that time.
I would've followed him anywhere.
I wonder if they make a woman's version. I'm there.
A popular classic. I bought it because I'd had heard so much about it. It didn't really work for me, but it smells great on the tester cards. Nicely packaged in opaque bottle, so you can toss the box. Very potent; should be used sparingly.
Pros: Getting cheap now, bold *POW* head turning. good starter scent for teens on weekends. Cons: social death to the 25+ male. Dated and DATED. easy to become ,"saturated guy."
This and the original 1978 Polo will date you right back in time to women. Do not use unless you are under 25 or at an 80's party.
It's not a bad fragrance, it was just that so many men used it for 14 years that you will not only remind a date of some OTHER guy BUT you have on some old school stuff.
As a scent it's strong and bold, can be WAY overpowering if overused. one spray fellas. It would go good in a 16 year olds collection of scents as a weekend, racing cars, fragrance. It is to bold and to "love it/hate it" for a day to day scent.
I can remember the the TV commercials, "Drakkar Noir... In the Black bottle.." highly marketed to great success.
