Pros: Price, Processor speed Cons: RAM, no moniter included in price
The Emachines Etower 400i is a decent computer. Starting with the processor. A Celeron 400 is a nice processor for your everyday needs. It will do just about anything the normal user does, pretty well. 32 MB of Ram is a little low but what do you...

Pros: Great Price Cons: Small HD in comparison to other computers
The EMachine 400i3 is the best machine I've come across for the price. I did much shopping around of all brands and decided that for people like me that aren't going to use their computer for running a business, this is a great deal. Although this comes...

Pros: low price Cons: time through the mail
i currently own a 400i and find it an excellent choice for the money. although it has only two pci slots(one is taken by the modem) and two isa slots it still is a good buy. my roommate just got a dell with a pentium 3 and although it is faster it is...

Pros: easy to upgrade if need be Cons: to get rebates you might have to sign on with MSN
It was x-mas and I needed a new computer. What to do?? Well after much debate and shopping around, I decided on a Emachine 400i tower. After rebates and monitor all I payed for it was $138.00. What i got was a 400mhz, 32mb, 4.3gb hard drive, 40 speed...

Pros: cheap and sturdy Cons: won't stay turned off
We bought an eMachines etower 400ix about a year ago to use as a second computer at home (our first computer is an expensive, professional one with a 24 gig hard drive), and it has served our needs nicely. Although I wouldn't recommend an eMachines...

Pros: Cheap Cons: Breaks After A Month or so
I had an old Pentium 1 and was ready for an upgrade but I didn't want to spend $1000.00. I needed a bargain. I live right around the corner from the worlds greatest Office Depot. I love them :) I started with the E300
The modem on it broke so...

Pros: Cheap Cons: Everything, cheap components
My experience with eMachines has been nothing but problems. I did not own one personally but was providing tech support to my relatives. I advised them very strongly against this brand but what are you gonna do when they go buy it on a whim. 64mb ram,...

Pros: Cheap, easy to use, easy to setup and runs pretty great. Cons: No children should run this without complete adult supervision (that means no leaving for a second!!)
I bought the Emachines 400i computer for a couple of good reasons. One was the price, I mean who could beat it. Another reason was the front game ports (a hit with my husband). Okay, so maybe three reasons. The third, and main reason, was to upgrade...

Pros: operates reasonably well Cons: tech-support is akin to a cannon against a fly
We purchased this computer as a first time thing....We received a fairly reasonable deal at the time ... After 10 months of operating well the power-supply fan began making a hideous racket....Calling e-machines support we were told the PS was...

Pros: Great buy for the money Cons: doesn't come with too much
I bought my emachines 400i about 6 or 7 months ago, and I haven't found any major problems. When I bought it, it was only $200 with the internet deal, and I couldn't resist considering that the only other computer I had was a really old 486. I was...

Pros: To buy best choice desk top, choose e-machine. Cons: Experience fully loaded computer at the best price.
I purchased e-tower 400ix about 6 month ago from Costco at the price of $ 649.00 (include monitor). I could not possibly buy 400 mhz speed and 6.4 gb hard w/40x cd-rom desk top at this price. Still I'm using this computer for my business and personal...

Pros: GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TECH HELP Cons: NONE REALLY
I have an emachines etower 400 i3 and in the beginning it was really frustrating because of the problems I kept having with the C.P.U. fan breaking over and over again and having to send it in all the time for repair or replacement. But, as far as this...

Pros: it gets exchanged when it breaks at circuit city Cons: it stops working for no apparent reason!
if you cant afford anything more than an emachine, then seriously consider saving more money and getting a better quality machine. The emachines are good computers while they are working. Unfortunately, this period seems to range from fifteen days to...

Pros: Cute, Small, Durable, Simply Functional Cons: Not much room for upgrades. Very few free slots.
They are small cute and durable. I dropped the machine taking it out of the box (my fault) it took one bounce off my toe (now black as night.) Plugged it in and it's working great. My toe however is still recovering.
I have had this machine on...
