Emerson CKD3810 Clock Radio

Pros: Fairly nice-looking, adequate sound quality, good weight (you can't accidentally knock it off a table).
Cons: Time and alarm setting buttons only go forward, not backward.

I thought this was a pretty good little machine for the price (under $30). I had mine for about two years when it started losing time. Then the LED started dropping out, intermittently. Then it just stopped working period. It sat in the same place the whole two years, plugged into the same socket, never got dropped. I expected it to last at least five years. I'll never buy Emerson again.

Pros: It is a good size for a bedside stand. It also has loud dual alarms.
Cons: The sound is somewhat "tinny". The CD player stopped working after about 6 months.

I bought this for my husband and it worked fine for maybe 6 months of intermittent use and then the CD player stopped working. The item was never moved or dropped. While the radio still works, the clock seems to loose time. Of course after this long, I can't find the receipt. The bottom line is, DON'T BUY THIS ITEM unless you like having useless electronics taking up space.
