Although the camera is in the same price range as other recognizeable 2 megapixel cameras, there is a large difference in the picture quality. Overall the colouration is accepatble but the pictures are warped owing to severe barrelling from the lens. Night pictures can be taken and the camera has a pre-set for this mode. You can change the white balance and exposure or leave it in automatic. The camera does have problems in coping with overcast conditions. Battery cost will be exhorbitant for the camera as you can not use NIMH or regular alkalines. Not recommended.
