Cons: Not fully XP compatible & works inconsistently.

For a newer scanner you would think it would be better supported by the manufacturer, but the simple fact is that it is not. The company does not make ( and has no intention of making) XP Compatible drivers. So, if you install the scanner on an XP machine, it always says it that it does not recognize the scanner. This makes it very difficult to troubleshoot because you can't tell if problems are coming from your software or from your scanner.

Scanner has had lots of problems just scanning. One day it works fine, the next day it won't scan at all. So, you uninstall it and reinstall and start your troubleshooting all over again. Definitely not work the money.
