Dramatically reduced the odors within our Nursing Home. by corpsman ,May 06 '07
Pros: Quiet, Inexpensive, Really Works Cons: None
As a Nursing Home Administrator, odor control within the building is not only important to residents, staff and family, it is a major piece of state inspections and evaluations. On a whim I picked up one of these units and placed it in the room of a resident who was virtually totally incontinent and therefore always had odors in the room. The next morning my nurses were wondering what the heck I had put in there. I ended up placing a unit in every room and our facility is virtually odor free. I was so impressed with this unit that I have already started to order them for my new facility of 100 resident rooms. I am absolutely impressed that something so small and extremely quiet could have such an impact in our buildings. My peers are placing their orders as well. Hats off to Hamilton Beach.
