What's in the box ? Ordered my h2210 from the HP online store. Had to wait for ages (2 weeks pda-less to be exact, and that felt like ages) for the unit to arrive from Singapore. The parcel finally arrived at my office and I quickly tore the box apart ...

Hewlett Packard iPAQ Pocket PC H2210 by ootoph ,Oct 26 '03
Pros: Smart, stylish and small: a pleasure to use
Superb screen: bright and rich colours Cons: Bundled software somewhat stingy
Low capacity (900mAh)
My previous PDA (also an HP) was giving problems with screen reading and I needed to upgrade to something faster and brighter. Reading both online and magazine reviews pointed me to the H2210 as being in the right price bracket and offering the sort of performance I sought.
Comparing the H2210 with other possibilities in the local store showed this PDA matched up to everything the reviewers stated. It sits very neatly in one's hand and the pointer is also well-designed (odd to say that for a prodder, but it's true!)
In terms of function, no problems: it was very fast indeed. The screen refresh is fast, background processing is fast - everything (including getting on working terms with the machine) was fast.
I'd recommend this as amongst the best of the crop.
My only criticism was that the battery was of limited capacity - I've not been embarrassed by it yet, but there's always that feeling that 9--mAh isn't brilliant on a long train trip or air flight.
HP were a bit mean on software compared to my previous package, too!
